Building glass cannon on a champion that still can 1 shot most things that get into her melee range with only Cleaver and Steraks as damage items is sort of pepega.
Its the same logic as Darius and Urgot, yes they have decent AD scalings but you can only nuke 100% of your opponents hp, like overkilling your target does not give bonus points.

@@Dingdong2730 You don’t get bonus points from riot but your nucleus accumbens, the center of your brains rewarding system, gives you bonus points for doing it the challenging way and winning. That is why we see meme builds even in ranked.
@@entropy4959 I played against a lethality Yorick a few days ago, and I was so concerned because I was playing an assassin mid(Talon) and Yorick was stomping my top, so usually this means a very rough game because standard Yorick builds he is gonna run down sidelane and you need more than 2 people to manage him in duels.
But lethality Yorick into an assassin is just troll, because assassins are balanced around being quicker and faster at dishing out their damage, so they will always win out if both parties just go damage.
Like you wanna deal high damage play an assassin, but I guess they are too mechanical for juggernaut players who are used to just facerolling their keyboard and killing everything in melee range.

I always wonder what his team is doing when he spends the majority of the game fighting at least 1v3
@@klynt5392 that's actually his playstyle he lures all the enemy champs, so his teammates can farm all the dragons, barons, and at times clear camps of enemy team, which pours in more gold to the team, so if ever the opposing team decides to turn their attention to his teammates, his team ahs the advantage in items

@@klynt5392 Being braindead. This game has to have the worst matchmaking I have seen. I have lost games where I 1v3, kill 2 of them, destroy a tower and almost kill the third one, just so my team could lose 4v2 and ping me.
It gives me so much joy to see bauffs happy, idk why but it’s just so wholesome imo

This game perfectly showed how Illaoi fights (outside of her R) are almost completely decided by whether she lands her E or not
Which just shows how unhealthy her E is, for both her and the enemy
@@mathiaseriksen6600 Yes and no. It gives her opponents something clear to play around, which stops her from being a strictly stat-check champion.
@@garrettord3304 It also makes it so if she does hit it, you've pretty much lost the ability to fight her at all. The ability is extremely toxic and should be remade entirely. It's just poor design that she can fish for you in lane, and the one time she hits you, you're losing a very large chunk of health, doesn't matter if you back off or try to contest, you're fucked both ways. Same if she ults, if she E's you, you're guaranteed to lose 60-70% of your health, doesn't matter if you try and take the fight elsewhere, she fucks up your spirit and the fight is lost.
@@mathiaseriksen6600 agreed, it is poor game design which is why the champion is hardly picked. it all coming down on whether to land a skill shot is just terrible! even if blitz misses his hook he can still provide some sort of utility!
@@mathiaseriksen6600 her E doesn’t seem be unhealthy for her. It’s a ranged attack that brings the enemy in melee range without them being there. With its non existent CD, and mana cost, it’s an incredibly forgiving ability.
The way you play the game is very encouraging for this community. Not just positive but also friendly banter that the game needs.

This is what makes Baus an interesting player to watch. Finding builds and champ play styles that exploit the enemy’s lack of understanding of how powerful they can be. I don’t necessarily know how high elo Illaois play but I have never seen one play under the enemy tower like Baus does.

About time Baus picked up Illaoi. He still plays excessively aggressive all the time, but I'm surprised he hasn't picked up Illaoi earlier if he truly wants to 1v9 every game.
Playing excessively aggressive is a way to learn the limit of his champion.
He would have never known he could 1v2 darius heca at lvl 6 with 60% hp if he didn’t try.

As I've learned from Dirty Mobs: A safe early game is the key to Illaoi. You can trade and get aggressive within reason, but you can't expect kills, and can expect to get ganked if you're over-extended because your only tool to really escape is on a 5 minute cooldown.
Love seeing you play this champion though. I've mained her for a while, and was wondering if you'd pick her up since she seemed to fit your gameplan for Sion pretty well, but with more oomph in scraps. Keep at it, Baus! Don't let the buttheads bring you down.
