Ace disagrees with this, but to find your proper deadzone, instead of setting the controller down, pick the controller up and hold it just like you would when you playing just don't intentionally move your stick. Place your hand on the stick but don't move it. This will let you find your practical deadzone, rather than theoretical absolute deadzone. Compare it to a flat tire. When you have a flat tire, your car will drag hard in one direction and you have to compensate by pulling on the wheel to keep it from immediately pulling in that direction. Well, would you rather have a tire that isn't technically flat but you still have to pull on the wheel to stay from immediately pulling in that direction, or you rather have a tire that might be aired a little bit more than the opposite tire, but stays on track without having to pull hard on the wheel? Thanks Ace, could you make a video about how to increase your fire rate? Not with attachement but the skill with the controller. I assume you don’t use a modded controller and I see lot of pro’s having way higher fire rate then ‘normal’. How to do this/practice/and when etc? Should be great material?
A lot of this just comes down to practice. I used to practice my trigger finger in the firing range, but now that’s gone, so use bot matches. Set your loadout to a semi auto gun and a pistol (use the DMR-14 or Type 63 and 1911 in Cold War, but if you have WW2, I suggest the M1A1 and the 9mm SAP; that’s how I worked on mine). And from there, just practice shooting as fast as you can while staying on target. I’ve been watching Ace for a long time, and while my trigger finger isn’t as fast as his, it’s not that much slower, as long as I’m warmed up and concentrating on it. Keep in mind that semi-auto guns usually have a fire rate cap, so there will be a natural ceiling to how fast you can shoot it. Good luck!
@@aslamc9288 thanks! And the same ‘trigger’ finger works for fully automatic? Because I tried but I cant increase my rate of fire with the mp5/ak47 for example just by clicking fast on the fire button, but maybe I am just to big of a noob:)
Ace, I don't want this to sound rude, but imho the two most important, and first things to list here, should be 1) learn what your gun's range is 2) learn how respawning works.
@@TheXclusiveAce How can anyone possibly play without a basic ABC understanding of spawns on something as simple as Nuketown? Literal pros don't know how to triple cap on Nuketown.
@@josephpaulduffey873 Triple capping is literally the worst thing you can do in domination (in pubs at least) because it makes the spawns unpredictable and those will flip every 2 seconds. Everytime spawns flip, there's a chance for the enemy to go for B. The better way to play dom is to cap your base and cap B and then spawntrap the enemy around their flag without touching it. This way they won't even stand a chance.
I used the pointman default class until level 45 (perk greed unlock level) because perk greed is just so overpowered there is no point in running anything else
For a tip I would say play fireteam dirty bomb for leveling up weapons but I swear they nerfed the weapon in that game mode at least compared to launch.

Listen, there are people who have headsets that makes ninja sound like normal footsteps. Ive ran into so many people who react as if I didnt have the perk, according to the killcam, and upon watching I heard my own steps like I didnt have ninja. I know you can still hear the steps at a specific range, but when its on my end I hear that very faint noise, where as the others they hear it clearly as day and loud. I still run ninja because it helps my playstyle and as of late, I've been trying other perks because when WZ switches over to this engine/graphics ninja won't be used unless you have a loadout, thus trying to get used to hearing my own steps until that drop comes.
Merry Christmas Ace!! Your vids have helped me a lot. Bro could you please make a video on the best way to use the mini map please?? Thanks a lot and keep up with the great vids.
Most of these tips seem to just be basic tips for any fps shooter, aside from the gun choice tip, nothing really for cold war exclusively, or not great explanations for some of them. Probably because there is a lot to covers, not that Ace doesn't know them. So here are some I gave to my friends that helped them get better and do better: 1. Clarification first. Ninja is not only good for counter soundwhoring, but also because it makes u immune for the most part to field mics. 2. Destroy enemy equipment whenever u see them, don't just run around them. These include field mics and jammer. Free score and helps keep u and your team alive
3. Bullet velocity seems to be king in this game. Effective damage range isn't as important as it was in modern warfare, but u don't always have to sacrifice one for the other. There are attachments that give both. 4. While ghost was indeed incredibly important when the game first released, it isn't so prevalent now. Not saying it's not strong, but as someone who plays this game consistently, I can say that counter uavs have become a much, much more often used streak than when the game first came out. I sometimes run classes without ghost now because whenever uavs come up, whether mine, a teammates, or enemy's, it is usually countered, shot down, or destroyed by air patrols consistently.
5. While it is important to learn the game by moving around the maps, I would advise u to first go into a custom match alone or with a friend to learn the map to at least know the layout. Then join matches to understand the chokepoints and the most common camping spots. It is hard to move slowly in this game since the game's maps are horribly designed, with rooms having multiple points of access rather than 1 or 2. Be careful and learn positioning. 6. Land mines. These are annoying for first time players. Crouch to avoid them since flak jacket does not save u from dying to them. Also, if u set one off while on stairs, either run forward if u are near a doorway to get around the damage, keep moving if u were running down the stairs as long as there is enough distance for your head to be below the blast radius, or just crouch. But if u were moving up, and happened to set off a mine, most of the time you will die. Engineer could be good to avoid this.
7. If u are coming in from MW and liked sniping, and used to use 3x scopes to avoid the glint given off by sniper scopes, u will be sad to hear that most of those types of scopes still give off glint and will reveal your position. 8. C4s are strong in this game and are great for destroying vehicles. A well placed c4 can destroy a tank alone. 9. If your like me and like running the armor scorestreak, BIG TIP: if u want to skip the armor animation, press right on the d pad to activate the armor streak, then double press Y or triangle as soon as the blue meter pops up above your health. It's not a huge skip, but the amount of times this has saved me from dying is insane. 10. Have fun. It is really easy to get annoyed at this game with sbmm and bugs and crashes. I went into this game not caring about kda or win loss ratio and I've been able to handle it.
I think most the time when you die, unless you tend to just die a lot, your positioning is what caused it. Everytime I’ve died I’ve had the thought of oh shit I was either too far to the left or the right and obvious to see.
i must be the only cold war player that doesn't use ninja i use gung ho instead being able to reload and throw grenades while in full sprint is crutch in my opinion especially if you someone who rushes a lot
If you are new to the FPS genre just don’t make BOCW your first game because this game quality isn’t on par with other shooters currently. It’s more for the returning COD players who prefer a traditional cod play style in which new players may or may not enjoy it.
Tip 1, run around with a sniper and quickscope people instantly killing anyone no matter what weapon they have, if they see you first or if there is two of them.... Seriously though, Snipers in this game are stupid, the amount of aim assist they get makes bullets curve to hit you. I started to prefire a mp5 and got most my shots on target then the guy just turned and killed me like it was nothing. Or I get killed right off spawn.
Can you do a video giving a lesson on an advanced topic, I feel like I'd really enjoy watching you dive deep into something like that

Some ppl think that sbmm is reduced but it’s not confirmed for more info you can watch (blame truth-the cod father himself)’s video
@@crpeeper3 nop its not reduced, same exact 9 sweaty ass lobs and a decent one after ... Honestly i dont really know what i keep torturing myself with the Game ... I mean It has a lot of potencial but sbmm just makes It imposible to play most of the times ... Well sbmm, aim resist, no aim asist, terrible respawn at times( dont even know the number if times ive respawn in nappal or in front of an enemy already shooting) etc etc
@@adrianpapibuilder my friends are saying it got reduced and it is not as extreme so I don’t know how it’s the same for you but also check the level of ppl you play against because maybe it’s reduced but you don’t feel it but also if your an average player you will still play with players like you because most ppl that play are average level players and that’s why a ranked and casual modes will be better bcuz ppl that are an average level but like to play super competitive can play ranked while ppl that like to have fun or just want to try new weapons can play casual
I have been playing since day 1 and I still learned a lot from your video. Thanks
I would love to see you using common terms like „crosshair placement“ instead of „centering“
The new scorestreak system is in my opinion better as it allows me to push objectives instead of being super cautious to get a streak
thanks for a reminder to like. at the time you are very influential.
For any controller users that want to get a better trigger finger use L1 and R1 to ads and shoot (
Sorry idk the xbox equalvilent)
Thanks this makes the grind that much easier
Use the Ak74u class setup. That way you can use Ghost and Ninja before you unlock them.
Tips:
#1 level up the best weapons
#2 get a refund
#3 play Warzone and enjoy life
Got killed by someone camping in rooftop

Can't dive into multiplayer without a briefing from our resident Canadian expert - cheers man 👍🍻
purchased the game 3 days ago, finished installing today
mp5 was a top 3 gun in mw, in cold war it gets outgunned in almost every head to head gunfight
I'm nkt sure what you mean, to my knowledge it has literally the 2nd fastest ttk in the entire game at 280 ms.
@@DustoVonSusto at close range, anything at mid range or longer you’ll most likely get outgunned by any other meta weapon unless you hit your shots first or you hit headshots

1st and only tip. Return the game get your money back. The SBMM will have you quitting in two weeks.
i like zombies though gamer
Whats the sbmm? Did it get nerfed?
lol yikes
ooooor...Play the game and get better like youre supposed to
It's funny how you all hate sbmm.. from the competitive focused cod dev.. when it was the redeeming quality of last year's title. Ever played old cod? It's ass and is always only the same few lobbies no matter how many are actually playing
thanks man much help for a chistmas noob such as myself
Incredible tip video honestly u earned my sub 💯
Thanks man I played the free beta and I recently decided to get the game
Been playing from the get go. This is a solid guide though for new players 10/10 👌🏻
My friends and I couldn't wait until PS5 to play Cold War, we've been having fun grinding Nuketown 24/7.
Thank you for these tips. They are really helpful :)
Learning spawns is more of an advanced skill
@@TheXclusiveAce How can anyone possibly play without a basic ABC understanding of spawns on something as simple as Nuketown? Literal pros don't know how to triple cap on Nuketown.
@@josephpaulduffey873 Triple capping is never good, unless you are losing by a LOT
@@LORVCN Triple capping is supposed to be the point of domination and flex of knowing how respawns work.
Are you doing the sub machine guns next?
I think He said tactical rifles will be the next ones
I used the pointman default class until level 45 (perk greed unlock level) because perk greed is just so overpowered there is no point in running anything else
For a tip I would say play fireteam dirty bomb for leveling up weapons but I swear they nerfed the weapon in that game mode at least compared to launch.
umm yeah, they did, it was even in the patchnotes
I know you got a bunch of testing and stats to collect
But when you're able to, can we please get more advanced video like this for people who already have the basics down?!
Big picture stuff like knowing when spawns flip and to where would help me so much
Honestly had no idea you could rank up weapons on zombies. Thanks, Ace.
You are indeed a noob then
Listen, there are people who have headsets that makes ninja sound like normal footsteps.
There won't be a game engine switch for Warzone

He had this video saved up for those Christmas noobs lmao
My tip is don't buy it unless u want to play zombies. And for future cods don't buy it if it has sbmm and no League system
Meanwhile in Modern Warfare, I've been using the JAK 12 relentlessly.
U are the very thing I hate 😤
@@zaydgill545 I agree

Merry Christmas Ace!! Your vids have helped me a lot. Bro could you please make a video on the best way to use the mini map please?? Thanks a lot and keep up with the great vids.
Most of these tips seem to just be basic tips for any fps shooter, aside from the gun choice tip, nothing really for cold war exclusively, or not great explanations for some of them. Probably because there is a lot to covers, not that Ace doesn't know them. So here are some I gave to my friends that helped them get better and do better:
This deserves more likes
Ace: zombies is chill
Me an the boys playing zombies at night: get your DOG
Ace: it don’t bite
Me and the boys: YES IT Do IT DO BITE
Wut
Pro tip: play prop hunt while it's here. You can actually have fun without weirdly high ping spikes and aim resist.
I think most the time when you die, unless you tend to just die a lot, your positioning is what caused it. Everytime I’ve died I’ve had the thought of oh shit I was either too far to the left or the right and obvious to see.
One of the best solid guns is the krig💯💯💯💯
Happy Boxing Day you Canadian prince.

Please do a similar video about warzone players? Please!
Advanced stats is what we need in COD MW and Warzone
Tip #1 Play zombies until you max out one gun since most of the early attachments suck
i must be the only cold war player that doesn't use ninja i use gung ho instead being able to reload and throw grenades while in full sprint is crutch in my opinion especially if you someone who rushes a lot
I'm curious to see a Versus video for the MW MP5 vs the Cold War MP5 in warzone.
Thanks for the aiming thing that helps a lot
If you are new to the FPS genre just don’t make BOCW your first game because this game quality isn’t on par with other shooters currently. It’s more for the returning COD players who prefer a traditional cod play style in which new players may or may not enjoy it.
what is the point of tips or doing good or bad if the game will just algorithm you so you perform the same every match?
Great tips. Really useful. Liked and Subbed.
Bought it today 🤪 perfect timing ace!
For Christmas I got gastroenteritis.. yay!! Been unable to escape the bathroom for days
Thanks! Very helpful! 😎😎
