I was there for a week in 1960, during which I attended Swami Sivananda's darshan. I would like to see more of the ashram and its surroundings, as everything looks different today. In 1960 there was no footbridge across the Ganges, and the only way to reach the other side was by boat. I tried to swim across the river, but was swept downstream by the surprisingly powerful current. After extricating myself from this, I faced a long walk back to the ashram. I am now 82, but I still remember that happy time. And I am still practicing yoga. Best wishes to everyone.
