We were one of the first families to move to Harold Hill. There was still a lot of building going on. We lived near the priory, on the edge of the green belt. I was 11 now 82. This brought back many memories..

A great pair of videos reminding me of the happy times when I was young playing "over the manor", fishing with worms on a pin, and later at school in that era, so long ago. Thanks for making the videos and posting them .

Great to reminisce. It was 1947 when the first prefabs were erected that we moved to Harold Hill. Wonder if there is any video of the first prefabs in the area?
