Our family owns a Tioga and we have the same problem with filling the gas tank. My Pawpa suggested we fill the Motorhome with the nose down hill. After investigating, I found that the filler tube is extremely long and almost dead level. Some gas stations have been so level that I have used my leveling blocks to raise the side that my filler tube is at. Since implementing this, we have been able to fill the motorhome much quicker. Happy camping! Thanks for the video!
Thanks for the information and for watching. It makes perfect sense now that you say that. We haven't had any issues so far this year (knock on wood) lol. I will remember this information for the future. Thanks again.
For the driving issue call Supper Steer and buy the Safety Plus piston bar for the front end. They even have it with an electric adjustment for side wind.
I have a 2020 Greyhawk and I also have the steering difficulty in the wind and when a truck passes me. Your video says you are going to install a steering stabilizer. Did you do it? Which one did you install and what were you results. BTW - I have the same issue putting gas in the motor home.
We have a 2021 Entegra Odyssey (the sister motorhome to yours) and we have the new Sony ones. Works like a dream. Has Apple Carplay and Android Auto, Sirius XM, Bluetooth, and it works really well... Worth the investment to remove the headache!
Thanks for the input and suggestion. I am gonna invest some time and energy calling Jayco to see what can be done. Also, sweet rig you have. Thanks for watching.
@@herewegoagaincamping - I bet you can get the same head-unit to swap. I don't have a TV in the back of our 31F, so I am going to try and go the route you took to get one mounted back there. 24", right?
Might try the RVAIRFLOW system for A/C. We have a Jayco 27U Greyhawk with 2 air conditioners and not as much of a deal - but hear they work really well for getting air flow into bedroom etc. I insulated the front doors and the steps over the battery with sound dampening material and that helped somewhat for sound, also sealed the metal plate at bottom of screen door and that helped. Filling gas also an issue for me - I actually carry 2 Anderson Leveling ramps (had them from previous camper) and drive up on them on rear driver's side tires when I get ready to gas up and fixes the problem - is kind of a pain but makes it much more consistent. We have some of the steering upgrades provided on Greyhawk and that helps fair amount with sway - but I still put roadmaster steering stabilizer on and has helped to make pretty easy to drive - worth the effort and fairly easy to install. Good luck on your journey - and there is, apparently, no perfect camper and we all have to battle these issues.
Thank you for all the info. I will look into the air system. Been doing some.research on the noise. So much to do to make things better but we love our camper. Just trying to make it better. Really appreciate the info.
We have a 2020 jayco 27u. I will agree the stereo is horrible, so bad we would have been better without one. I took care of a lot of the road noise by insulating the entire cab area under the matting and engine cover. For the swaying take it to the alignment shop and tell them to max out the caster. They will have to put different caster bushings in to do this but it’s pretty simple job. This made a massive difference in the way ours drove. I think it cost around $150 at an alignment shop in Texas.
Also, wind isn’t too bad if it’s constant but those gusts just take you by surprise while driving down a straight highway. My motorhome is under 25 ft but I had 15 minutes of fighting to keep my rig on the road one day. I would have pulled over if there had been a place. Thankfully it didn’t last long.
We bought a Winnebago 26M Intent Class A (26ft) last year. We struggle with a few of this issues as well and would love a remedy. The road noise is terrible. We have to yell to each other. It did improve once I put Gorilla Grip shelf liners on the shelves and between every piece of our dishes. That stopped the rattling but its still just loud. We do get a lot movement when driving also. The wind is not as bad as yours but when we are passed by other vehicles it pushes us bad. We do have auto jacks that was a must and why we chose this over a Class C. Like you we only have one A/C and I wish we had two. Our unit is small but man its hot out there. We use reflectors but that means no view. I will take no view over the heat. We have recently purchased magne shades but they have not arrived I am hoping that will be our compromise. If not it will be at lease another layer between us and the heat. I try hard to get sites in the shade if at all possible. Will be watching to see if you get any good suggestions. Wish I had some for you but we are in same "camper". Safe travels and I love watching your videos!

We are considering a 2021 Jayco 31 F because of the bunks. My concern is the size of the slide out.....anyone had slide issues on their Jayco that has the FULL SIDE SLIDE?
I find the gas nozzles are different. I think some curve more than others. I have a motorhome on the ford transit and usually the nozzle goes in all the way but some only go in part way and a couple have only gone in a little ways.
Hi Slam Boy, thanks for watching. Great idea for the cage for the sewer. How do you like the 6" lift? I have been looking into this off and on for some time and just can't make my mind up. Thanks again.
@@herewegoagaincamping love it. You would think an off-road setup would be soft and gel tippy. With the added travel when you go up drive ways at an angle it doesn't sway back and forth(as much). They have a class c test drive about 30 days back.

Hi and thanks for watching. We were going to do this for a few of the issues. With the pandemic, we are trying to get as much camping as we can in. Thanks for the info and we appreciate you watching.
Hi there..love the video!!!! We are in the process of researching to buy a motor home (never even owned a tent). However, love taking road trips to visit family in Florida and the car just doesn’t do it for us anymore. I have been looking at the Jayco and love them. Never knew there was road noise, unsteady driving (🤭😳), a/c concerns, etc…to consider, so THANK YOU for those pointers. As for the gas issue, where would the gas go if not the tank..🤔? Would the gas gage (at the pump) show the price /per gal rise. Just trying to make sense of it. Sorry for the long comment (leave it to a rookie..🤦🏻♀️).
Thank you for watching! We really love our motorhome and these are just concerns or issues that surprised us, so wanted to pass them on. The gas doesn't fill up, it just keeps shutting the pump off just like it would when your tank is full. It happens over and over when you know the tank is empty. It is very frustrating when you are traveling and need the gas. Thanks for watching and good luck. Hope you get the motorhome of your dreams.
Hi Shakara, ohhhh that is terrible. Leaks are always headaches and just horrible to deal with. Have you tried the RV roof guy? I hear amazing things with him. Thanks for watching.
Omg yes the Lil wind is tough on me to driving my Jayco is all over too my arms hurt an yes I get warned out I'm the only driver too I'm going to put stable bars also
I have a 2022 Jayco Redhawk 31 foot an I hate it its been in the shop more then with me this last time it was in the shop 9 mos electrical shortage all propane leak ect..
I had a 2015 Greyhawk and loved every minute of ownership during 5 years. I've pretty much made up my mind I will be buying another for retirement trips instead of spending twice as much for a smaller unit with a diesel i can't service myself. Just my 2 cents: > Totally agree on the air conditioners. We never went very far south because of only having 1. Yes to buying big roll of reflectix, custom cutting and labeling for all windows. Also, great tip i observed from a fellow C class owner was to pop open your hood of engine bay after you arrive at destination when hot to allow the heat to dispel quickly from the motor. This made a huge difference so it doesn't radiate into cab and house area. Also, make sure to have a white vinyl or reflective windshield cover. This is essential. > Had several brutal white knuckle trips between Minnesota and South Dakota, Wyoming etc., in the Greyhawk. On the other hand, the only RV's we ever saw that had blown off the road were much larger diesel pushers. So yes, they are more stable. But they are also much bigger wind blocks. So to me it's all relative. Enjoy your family time and the rig!
Totally agree with sound unit being crappy. The gps unit is almost useless so I use the maps feature on my phone. Haven’t had any issues with pumping gas. Amount of Road noise is more than I figured on but still tolerable. I have the Grayhawk with the plus suspension that is supposed to be stiffer but still catches cross winds but have noticed no problem when being passed by simi’s. Check out the Sumo Spring helpers. They say that they make a big difference in side to side sway and roll. Also a steering damper should help a lot to limit the seesawing of the steering wheel. The auto leveling is great but if it is very unlevel you will need something to put under them as they don’t have to much of a travel to them. They are also about as low as the sewer outlet hanging down so watch big bumps or curbs.
Thanks for all the info Former Aide. Never thought about the leveling jacks being about the same height as the sewer. This is some fantasy information. It is greatly appreciated. 👍
does the gas keep clicking off while you're trying to fill it up? it might be a clog between the carbon canister and gas tank or after. You can try blowing into tubes to figure it out. I'll try and attach a video I ran across onthis problem. th-cam.com/video/B7EcWwlhzBM/w-d-xo.html
