    Quite good visibility. How can you tell how clear the water will be ?
    The blacker it is on the surface the clearer it will be. How come? The colour of the water is determined by the amount of light being reflected off particles in the water. The clearer it is the more light, photons, pass down until eventually fully absorbed by the water at depth.
    If the ocean surface looks black the water at, say 30m will be absolutely clear, visually not there.
    A good place to dive these conditions is at the Poor Nights in Northland.
