How do they stop with no brakes
what gives or has a faster acceleration a 500cc 2 stroke cycle (engine) or 500cc speedway motorcycle engine ?
2 strokes deliver more power.
What manufacturers are still making these bikes besides Jawa?

@rusty6314 I think so. Engine manufacturer is, however, not as important as most riders tune their engines with tuners. They make their engine better and suitable for preferences
That is understandable my concern was parts availability here in the States. Jawa's are by far the most popular. Cody Racing has a Weslake for sale but not sure on reliability or parts.@@Carnielli10
Ohhh, unfortunately, as I am from Poland, I do not know about the availability in the US. Most riders here use Jawa and GM, that is for sure :D @@rusty6314
still doesn't explain why they have no brakes.
Four riders at close proximity to each would spell disaster if one of them suddenly braked. If there's an emergency, you simply throw the bike down and slide off. Plus the engine (which has very high compression) slows down very rapidly upon throttling off.
Brakes would be useless on a shale track.
