According to Electric Callboy it was a 50/50 collaboration and they had a great time and got along great.
Subbed for more, I think the biggest negative emotion was actually stress, because of time and budget pressure, but the collab itself actually was very positive, they are pretty much friends now.
The funniest bit, is that they got along GREAT, and seemed to agree on almost EVERYTHING. But it's such a weird, perfect combo, I can see why you'd at least (maybe correctly) assume that they were like...wait...what do we actually CALL this song? lol...love your intro positivity and message though, and yeah...this collab is not only a banger, it's already being considered the best banger of not just the summer, but of 2024 so far :)
The song was passed back and fourth about twenty times until this version was made. When it was first released, it was audio only and became a favourite for many from both BabyMetal and Electric Callboy fans. Once the MV was released a few days later, it just 'blew up'. Something like two million views in two days.
You are partially correct, BABYMETAL (who are Japanese) do not make quite the same stuff that Electric Callboy makes. BABYMETAL goes WAAAAY heavier than Electric Callboy. They always have the J-pop vocals and the dance choreography, but their backing music is every genre of metal from thrash to power metal to prog and even death metal. And I'm sorry to say, they were not safe from the demon possession, lol! During the breakdown when he is bringing the power cables together (the part you paused on when you were talking about them being possessed), the second, deeper and more demonic sounding "Are you ready?" was one of the ladies of BABYMETAL (Momoko, the one on the left).

You definitely need to do more of both, Hypa Hypa from Electric Callboy and Gimme Chocolate from Baby Metal. And you'd be surprised about how similar Baby Metal and Electric Callboy are
Good first reaction. Both bands formed in 2010. Electric Callboy are great musicians, but you know that already and you know they like to have fun and inject some humour into what they do.
BABYMETAL are from Japan and they are the best live entertainment of any kind that I've had the privilege to experience in person.
You won't have seen or heard anything quite like them, they pioneered their own metal sub-genre fusing metal with J-Pop hooks, melodies and aesthetics (including introducing choreographed dance to metal) and they are both original and unique.
BABYMETAL have nearly 70 songs now, each one different to the last - some are good hard metal, some lean towards their pop roots, they do everything in between and they will also mix and blend in so many other musical styles and genres with the metal.

I fortunately witnessed the live debut and the second performance of RATATATA by BABYMETAL and Electric Callboy together in the two-day Fox_Fest on May 25 / 26 in Japan. Fun, happy, exhilarating, bubbly... Those words I could think of, as you can imagine. There were many mosh / circle pits over there 😄. On Day-1, the girls and Nico / Kevin hugged each other (and group hug) to celebrate the success of the live debut (heartwarming!!)

You obviously don't know what you are talking about . It is simply a machine gut and sdd to it my body is a weapon. It is quite obvious that Babymetal and Electric Callboy talked about the theme and so on and that they sometimes us explicit themes Babymetal must have signaled them, we are fine with it. And then it ran I dare you. I don't think that Electric Callboy thought that these three tiny girls would be ready to go half as explicit. Your big problem is, it wss nit one Studio but at least two and the production teams were 10.000 km apart. Without thevinternetvyou could not realize such projects, but now they are pretty simple.
