People very quickly forget Ten Hag took over the worst United side in EPL history, took them to 3rd place in his first season, won the Carabao Cup, and lost in the FA Cup final. The problem with your comment is Ten Hag is far from alone. Moyes, Van Gaal, Mourinho, Ole, Rangnick, and now Ten Hag have all faced similar fates at the club. That’s 6 managers in just over a decade. At a certain point, that points to deeper underlying issues at the club that no manager appears able to overcome. And it’s very likely why Van Gaal warned Ten Hag not to take the position at United.

But last season's results were partly down to Rashford busting out with a year left on his contract. And let's not forget the 0:7 game. Yesterday’s 0:4 match was just repeating history. So after two years, ETH has proven his coaching problems time and time again, do you still believe that he deserves another year?

Because Moyes, Van Gaal, Mourinho, Ole, Rangnick, and now Ten Hag have all faced very similar situations at the club. That’s 6 managers in just over a decade. Players are initially up for it under the new manager (manager bounce/honeymoon period) but then drop standards and starting downing tools 6-12 months after the manager comes in. And the same cycle repeats itself between 12-18 months under every manager where the media clamor for the next United manager to get sacked. It’s like clockwork. The players are paid far too much, far too soon, it gets to their head, and they not only lose their hunger and edge but get massive superiority complexes as a result.
Erik ten Hag is one the worst coach ever hired by Man United. The open midfield and leaky defense can be coached to do better even if you have deadwood players. He has shown game after game he is incapable of spotting the problems. The entire downfall started with the disrespect he showed to Ronaldo and I know CR7 has ego, but he was a model professional.

Past greatness does not make any team entitled to be among the best at current or future state….Arsenal is one of the teams that finally realised this and started the process to try and build a new dynasty.
