With how antagonistic Daniel's chat is to him, and with the additional threat of sabotage, i think that happy meal is the main reason he won. I expect a 10 hour happy meal stream.

It's amazing how we overcame the odds with animations on and default text speed, it's amazing what the power of bribery with McDonalds can do. Sad news however, RT actually tried to get the Happy Meal for chat, McDonalds didn't have it ready and 4 different UberEats drivers gave up, he's going to be making us a pizza at some point

@@denos1699 Yeah in the next stream he told us the story, McDonald's reported the food was ready but 4 drivers tried to pick it up, waited and then had to drive off because they were wasting so much time (they get paid per job after all). Dad just got refunded after all this.

The fact he won even with the disadvantage of both animations on and medium text speed, imagine just how much faster he would be with them off and faster text
I mean as much as it is slower, but it does allow RT to steer the wheel better, since chat can do less action. Clearly, RT is pro Chat gamer XD

in fairness chat usually bands together against rt, together they're unstoppable

One theme I've noticed across a few of these videos is that Twitch Chat can't help but do everything in their power to make Daniel just, eat food.
We are all a hivemind of grandmas. Doesn't help that the lad is skinny as it is
something something "he's a twig" something something "happy meal funny"
The pokemon stream where he tried to order a pizza (gone wrong) is still one of the Daniel moments of all time

In all honesty, if Daniel decides to just do a stream having lunch, we'd all be watching it.
Fun Fact; Dan had animations on, and none of the others did. He learned of this early on, and decided to STUNT on them by not turning animations off, and winning anyway.
AND HE DID.
And even better was that he TOLD Chat that if they really wanted animations off, they'd have to do it themselves. Absolute madlad
What isn’t included here that was a part of the full stream is that although RT had battle animations on, with medium text speed, all the other competitors had no animations and fast text! So if everyone had the same settings, there would have been no challenge at all!
More animations means less opportunities for chat to do battle moves, tho l
More animations/text speed meant less time for chat to mess things up, and with Dan on control he could just spam A more efficiently than hecklers stuck with the text

DougDoug also had battle animations on and medium text. But he is second last place so its not the reason why RT won.

I like to think that our trainer is secretly a robot designed to look human, and Twitch Chat is the drunk operator trying it's best to pilot it whilst they've only skimmed though the manual before throwing it away

@@sigheyeroll we even made him take us back to the museum. You can't go back without fly though so we rioted until he restarted the game completely, played through until we got to the town, and took us to the museum. It was a wonderful experience 10/10

I was there when this was live and everyone was so focused and stayed ahead for so long that is was scary that they were so coordinated for a single goal find it so sad chat couldn't get there single happy meal. In rt's next stream the james bond stream he addressed the happy meal promise in the first 15 minutes. it's a long (and really funny) story but basically dad couldn't get our happy meal in time but promises to do a stream where he makes pizza

I'm not surprised we won this one. I've seen how cooperative chat is on Minecraft build days. If this was, say, Jerma's chat, we'd be constantly antagonizing him and doing absolutely nothing he wants us to do.
Jerma would leave mid stream and come back to twitch chat already winning the 2nd gym

I'm very surprised Dan's chat is somehow the most coordinated out of them all.
I was in Doug Doug's stream when rt said "I need you guys to know I just got ivysaur" I genuinely thought DougDoug was the one saying it because the timing was so perfect
I can't decide whether this would go amazing (based off the coordination during Minecraft builds) or absimally based off chat's expertise in other areas such as bomb diffusal in Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes

It’s incredibly rare to see Doug’s chat lose when pitted against other chats due to the experience of Twitch Chat on the DougDoug channel and due to how far semi-coordinated chaos tends to get them

I know that the happy meal was a solid motivator, but I also think they won because Dan has such a solid connection with his chat its incredible. That's why he's my fav streamer, he's got the best dynamic with his own chat and he really never fails to include them

alpharad was in this race? with how quiet and tryhard he was, i didnt notice their was another content creator in the race
It's how he did the last challenge for the most part. Muting on discord so nobody knew his strats and his progress and then verbally directing chat so they were all coordinated in the same direction. Less complete chaos and anarchy provided from others trying to sabotage, and more coordination from his chat who has only done this one other time.
Either that or the way that RT's Editor cut up the vid left out moments where Alpha spoke up.
