Thank you for showing how you wind the hooded bobbins, I have some I have not yet had a chance to use. I haven't seen this type of linen thread spool, is it available online?
This yarn bobbin is called "Sternzwirn" (star yarn?). You can buy it in any supermarket in Germany. Please note that this thread is available in cotton or linen. I only use linen yarn because it is much stronger and the lace gets more hold.
