There are those of us in the church who are pastoral counselors and good at what we do, because we know abuse occurs within the church as well. I hope and pray that she finds those within her church that she can trust, and those outside her church she can trust, that she starts setting boundaries even within her marriage if she's choosing to stay.

I'm not embarrassed by this for the reason that it is showing Jesus' words at Matthew 7:20,21 to be true: "by their fruits, you will recognize those men Not everyone saying to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter into the Kingdom of the heavens, but only the one doing the will of my Father who is in the heavens will."This person proving that Jesus' warning is true. Tolerating abuse is not being strong. It's actually being emotionally weak. Strong people don't let other people treat them this way. And I am not bashing them, cause they indeed need strength to pick themselves up and leave. But being strong is not about letting someone hurt you and you are quiet. In the least it shows you have no guts, and have no life of yourself outside this person.

Tolerating abuse is not being strong. It's actually being emotionally weak. Strong people don't let other people treat them this way. And I am not bashing them, cause they indeed need strength to pick themselves up and leave. But being strong is not about letting someone hurt you and you are quiet. In the least it shows you have no guts, and have no life of yourself outside this person.

Women in general cover years of both plain qnd subliminal emotional abuse they push on their husbands. They begin to use sex as a reward system for every little issue.
