I'll be honest, this looks like the AdMech player was not aware that the take and hold victory condition was on because, as you said, it's usually off for unification. The difference in level was quite important, so the conclusion feels quite anticlimactic, if not a bit scummy.
The A.M. player was frustratingly bad.. didn’t even really make an army the entire game just sending out 1-2 units here and there and getting washed.. 💀
try playing versus him then dude. playing admech doesnt really take much thinking as well. Big words to say for someone i've never heard of. We're no near to being pros at all, we're pretty casual. if you want competitive watch soul storm casts.
If you upgrade your infantry you could be looking at prices of 240 req to 360 req per squad depending how many infantry upgrades you get accross the game. At that point vehicle spam for admech is cheaper. Wafflestomper is far from bad. If anything Admech's gameplay design is shit. And skill can only polish a turd so well. I got six years of gameplay on Admech Explorators since before Unification gained a multiplayer following and was made into an easy to install package. Not much has changed. Same old mess it has always been. And when its all weapon values are properly fixed in 7.0 so the faction can counter vehicles and aircraft as soon as tier II hits like every other faction, it can be the braindead faction it was meant to be since 2016. And I can finally shut the fuck up about it. At least the Admech Knight Paladin's newer model since Unification version 5.9 looks nice... Now shut your mouth hole about Wafflestomper's skill and the faction that has been the source of all my problems with this mod.
Excited for 7.0 can't wait to play as Farsight Enclave.

Devs balance for 1v1 and Take and Hold. It's not like its illegal to have it on. It's more of a player preference thing.
