Youth is such a personal song, it made me cry... Mingi wrote the song on his hiatus, so in a time where he struggled a lot. The bridge was missing and when the company asked who he wants to do the song with, he requested Yunho (even though Yunho was supposed to sing a ballad with Jongho for the units). Yunho wrote the bridge and if you look at the song as a whole, it is the only hopeful part of the song, the only time where it's not just about overthinking things but reaching out to someone and tell them that 'I am here, lean on me'. Additionally to the whole personal things they have, there is also lore in there regarding their in universe self (world A). Like the car and the instruments in Yunho's scenes and the scars Mingi has. I find the symbolism of the house interesting. Because in the beginning they look into the house and see memories and in the end they burn it. So for me it feels like they are leaving the negative things behind them and move on. Yunho stepping up next to Mingi to show 'we are in this together'. Just overall very emotional all of it... Actor Jongho definitely needs to be in another k-drama AND sing the OST to it! He did amazing and his vocals.... oh my his VOCALS!!! Such an Ace, really :D The video really had me wondering what bad thing he did that she broke up with him as it was clear he messer up.
