Five years later... Have you ever considered an online grocery order? You can have your standing list ready to go, add or subtract a few items, and pick it up whenever you like for a VERY modest fee. I started this year (after everyone else caught on during covid) and I am LOVING it!
Sandi, odd request....but any idea where your scanner got that chute? I live in the states and really need to get my hands on one (or plans to build one)
I can see a pregnancy at day 30, most of the time, but if it is smaller than normal it is possible to miss it. Fetal count can't happen until after 40 days.

What do you do with the ewes that dont take?
Open ewes always get a second chance to be re-bred. If they miss again, they go.
How many ewes do you have all together, and how many are in each lambing group? thanks in advance :)
I think right now I'm at around 450 ewes. Each group will be about 120-150 depending on conception rates...
on what # gestation day do you scan your ewes?
I aim for 45 days post ram removal... So about 6 weeks. I know some who can do it around day 30!
