    Cold, I know -16F Tuesday morning here! The water froze coming in the house but not in the barn! We put in a new line into the house a few yrs ago, something wrong somewhere. New heat tape and its going but...
    Anyway Lisa and I have been at this for 40 yrs in our 60’s but love every minute of it!

    If you think the carharts are amazing, wait until you try wool overalls...absolutely no comparison, better in every way, including longevity, warmth, dryness, cleanliness etc etc

    I refuse to accept winter until Christmas. Until then there's still a chance for a quick warm up! Yes bury water lines! When you think it's deep enough to another foot! On same note - Nelson water bowls, I swear by them. They have electric heater in them and they last forever!

      has your water bowl in the cattle barn have a 16 " riser under it . It needs to have this in order to transfer the ground heat up to the bowl and just adjust the water level a little bit higher the riser should be min 4' deep

    Do you feed the sheep feed that is high in sugar or fat, to help them keep their body temperature up.

    Your boots are a problem because they are non-insulated rubber. If you get them big enough to wear THICK not soft- socks it will help. Insulated boots 👢 or ski boots keep your feet warm if you can use the in you work...

    I can't believe you'd opt for kleenex and not just use hankies. They don't crumble when they get wet, and they're a lot softer than a paper towel.

    I’ve never heard of them being called a “touk”, here in Australia we call them Beanies.

    • @jhutch1681
      @jhutch1681 ปีที่แล้ว

      Toque is French-Canadian. For us a beanie would be a smaller hat, close fitting hat without a brim - almost perched just on the top of your head :)
