Times past should always be kept for generations to come as evidence of our history in whatever period . Too bad 7074 was abandoned for so long after the Birkenhead museum was shut down (HMSs PLYMOUTH and ONYX were both scrapped as a result - I hope the money-grubbing landlord is satisfied), but I'm thankful that the last LCT from Overlord is going to be preserved! I look forward to touring her once the restoration work is done.
@@ThePsiclone I think that one may have gone straight over your head, mate. The point I was making was that nothing sent to Liverpool gets the care it requires. They have in recent years had historical warships of all kinds, all of which went for scrap due to neglect. It comes as no surprise that it took Portsmouth and Southsea to give this the attention it deserves. Nobody should send or give anything to Liverpool. It's a sh*thole.
