Hi Geraldine! Great Video! Totally get what you're saying about trying to figure things out. I'm ready for that change and ready to get to NYC. I'll drop you an email in regard to a project you may be interested in.....Can't wait to see the next video!🌷🌷

I want to thank you for your videos. I lived in NYC in my 20s and 30s with my hubby. Loved it and I left when he got sick so I could stop working and take care of him, NYC was too expensive without a job. Anyway, now that I am your age I have been thinking of returning but I see little reminders in your videos that remind me that maybe NYC is for the young, long walks, subways and without a partner it can be lonely, so many things to do but nobody to do it with…anyhow it is just my feeling…if tomorrow I won the lottery I would buy a brownstone in the west village and get a car with a driver …so maybe is the $ or lack of that makes it seem not ok for this age…😢😮you enjoy that beautiful city and I know Hoboken, it is nice too…enjoy 😢😮

    Hello again!
You certainly are resourceful! I had no idea there was a business that offers opportunities to be a house/cat sitter. Do they somehow vet you to be sure you aren’t a risk to the homeowner?
The little city of Hoboken looks charming, very homey neighborhood vibes. Living in the suburbs of Detroit (50min. north), our city isn’t in a public transportation route of any sort. No taxis even. I imagine it’s easy for you to figure out trains and subways and bus lines given you grew up in NYC. For the visitor there must be a learning curve in assessing when to leave to make it to another destination for an appointment. But now as a California resident where driving/cars are necessary, I think you did a great job navigating your way around!
Once your car sitting has concluded, I assume you return to your mother’s residence? Love to hear if that is still your final destination for a NYC address or will you keep looking for a place?
    Thank you for the video!

Yes it's def a bit of a process but Ive used on both sides and been 99% happy with the service. To be a pet sitter you'll need to have 2-3 recommendation before you qualify to offer your services to house/pet owners. And at the beginning owners will likely video interview you etc...but it's a great cheap way to travel esp if you like the company of pets lol. Also, I lock my valuables and take my camera equipt with me but ive never had a problem with ppl trying to steal or anything like that! (knock on wood)

Thank you. So pleased that you dig ;) def feels like I’m a newbie and appreciate the support. I have often felt that bc of my age I need to have things figured out but I think that might be just a human thing not an age thing ;)
