They used to make high end fly rods. And they were great. I still have a Legend elite. Circa 2002? Titanium guides. Aluminum tube. Cast amazing. And still as light as the best rods today!
Graphine has nothing new to offer in terms of designing the action of the rod. It still is a prepreg, it is still cut to flags, or used as scrim. 20 year technology. The only thing manufacturers can do is how they layer these plies on the mandrel. I wouldn't call it technology. Proprietary desing is a better fitting word.
Hey Mr. Tailwater, Maybe invite this 🤡 down to your shop during your next casting review. Apparently, he’s the next Joe Rotter from Reds Fly Shop on TH-cam. I’m sure he thinks he’s that good😂

I have fished a mojo bass fly rod for years and love it .
Thank you for the overview and review! Have you heard any rumblings about a new “mid priced” offering from St Croix?
Of course! The Imperial Salt fits the bill for that!
Y'all should check out the Mojo Bass Fly rod. It's my favorite rod right now. It preforms well above it's price point. Love the videos!
It would be nice to see more mid under $500 Rods
Got it! Which ones specifically are you interested in?
@@tailwaterflyshopOrvis superfine glass (8'8" 8wt)
love the video, any plans to make videos for budget offerings? would love to see your take on some of them.
Also congrats on 3k subs
Thank you! Absolutely? We’ve got some in the works. Which rods would you like to see?

There is no way in hell you throw a functional cast with that casting stroke. Please learn it correctly if you’re gonna review rods
Thank you for your expert opinion
What are you talking about O.o
That's funny.
