It was always the intention, but we didn't have a post credits scene initially. We thought it would be exciting for the audience to learn that he's not quite finished yet though! I'm glad you like that detail!

I didn't think Mr. Crothers's food listing bit could get any fucking funnier, but it did. This whole redo was awesome. I love that Toby's sister's name is now easier to remember(I have a neighbor named Millie).
This story still hurts my heart. My husband and I would still be the best parents that Toby and sister would ever have. We make it were that they are happy and safe and most importantly that they are loved and respected.
I had a dream about this last night and in my dream their was a happy ending. Toby and his sister became our adopted children and Frank and Evelyn lost their parental rights and they were only allowed to visit with someone watching them. Toby and Millie were so much happier. They were calling me and my husband mom and dad. So yeah it was a good dream I hope I have it again really soon.

I was actually tearing up at the end with Mr. Crothers and Toby. Just a heart jerking moment of Toby confronting his father figure for the crimes he himself just committed and those he didn't. There weren't any winners in this story... Well, unless you count Slendy.
I love this, the voice acting, the emotion, the music, the sound design, it's like listening to a movie, while I was listening to this and I was imagining a whole movie in my head. I absolutely love this.
OH MY GOSH, I loved this so much, even better than the original! There was so much more development with the story and I loved what you guys added and changed! The Crothers' were as endearing as ever, especially Mr.Crothers introducing the food they had XD. The added dialogue you guys gave Toby made the case even more emotional, with the added impact of the mystery behind his biological father. The IC character was creepy as all hell and greatly voiced. Frank and Evelyn, even if a lot of the lines were kept, it all made me hate them even more, same for J.C! Toby's character is so well-developed and I feel so bad for the dude.. Don't even get me started on how fucking gorgeous the art is and how beautiful the transitions are! Also, the ending with the extra banter from Jeff to Toby and the guards was immaculate, he's such a snarky little asshole XD Also, that jumpscare in the post-credit scene got me, I loved it so much! I can't wait to see how all of this ties together with the TMF storyline! Great work guys!
Each case for season one is a different story going further back in the past. Case #1: The Blood Red Sky takes place in 2018. Case #2: Jeff The Killer takes place in 2016, and Case #3: The Mine On Hills Grove takes place in 2010. Case #4 will take place in the year 2000. Once we finish these stories and begin season 2, then we will continue with Tobias Adams and Jeffrey Mason.

Honestly, I can't believe some people are legit complaining about this reboot. It's freaking amazing! I liked the first draft, but this takes what the OG did right and runs with it! And both are leagues above the original story, which was alright but absolutely starved of essential details and "real" characters. Keep doing what you're doing!!!

I have to say this was a big improvement over the original, not only do I like the character of Tobias Adams better than Ticci Toby but I felt like I connected to his character more. Not to mention I love the new content that was added and it was cool to get to see more of Jeffery Mason. I was glad to hear that Wilson is still alive because the original lead us to believe that he was dead. I'm really intrigued to see where this story goes because it sounds like it's going to be interesting. What you have here is truly a work of art and I can't wait to see what else you have in store!!!

I don't usually comment on videos much, but I have some things to say about this one though. This was a nice late birthday present! My birthday was on the 21st and this was amazing to enjoy! I loved the original one when it was about Ticci Toby. But this one? It's still the same story, with a new and original character, with an awesome design that I love. It was still emotional as the original was. And I loved everything about it! Can't wait for more future cases!

When tobys mom started talking about she never asked to be his mom, it made me think of Me and my own mother I know she’s never outright said she didn’t want me but every time I look into her eyes I can’t just see and hear the words. That part just hits so close to home for me. But the overall story of this is just awesome/macabre.

Man this was just awesome! I love that you guys delved deeper into Tobias mental state and his madness. Jeffery is just so damn good in this too and I can’t wait until he escapes and starts his murder spree again. And I love detective Kent already he’s already one of my favorite characters.
I've watched the whole thing to the moment, meaning I've watched/listened it all chronologically and let me tell you: it felt good getting home from work and listening to it, just like I read creepypasta after getting home from school when I was a kid. It feels like these characters matured with me now. Plus it was a joy to spot which characters were being referred to - like Smile dog, Zalgo, Slenderman. It's just so well written/narrated. I don't know if you will do more of these chronologically forward because I see that the next is mothman, and it seems it has a 70's setting, but I really hope you do, I want to see how it continues. This has become easily the best series youtube has to offer and an amazing reboot of classic creepy pasta. Iv always been a fan of the originals regardless of how corny they could be and this is honestly the best interpretation iv seen of these stories and am so hyped to see what comes next. I legit binged through all of the current cases.

Thank you, I appreciate the kind words! I feel like Ticci Toby was only interesting because people like myself, MrCreepypasta, and others, gave him a personality and fleshed him out. The original story by Kastoway featured a Toby who was a Jeff The Killer knock off inside of a Slender Man fan fiction. The story we told in Case #1 was something completely original that we were very proud of! With this revamp, we simply removed the "Ticci Toby" elements, but kept most of what we did before. We then added extra content into the mix, and we are even more proud of this end result. I hope you can embrace Tobias Adams as much as we have!

It seems like the figure isn't evil (and while people think it's slenderman, David has said it's a horror series not creepypasta) it seems like the figure is neutral however drawn to disturbed or abused individual. Least thats what I got from the first episode, hasn't seen the second yet. Brilliant work
David has said on a QA that the figure makes slaves out of broken people. In my eyes by telling what happened (if it even happened,maybe it can make hallucinations) it gained Tobiass loyalty far more effectively then by force, which will make him a even better slave to the creature. It made Tobias feel like he only had the creature. And I can’t help but wonder what it is going to use those people for. Like it clearly wants people to die. But why and who? And why can’t it do it ? And even if it didn’t manipulate the events, why is it drawn to abused and broken people? The fact that it has no problem with murder tells me it has a very shaky morale (I guess I have no idea who is next on the murder list) If it has no problem with murder, I can’t imagine it would have a problem with abuse

This revamp is amazing!! The visual settings are very accurate based on the change of events; from the visuals of the titular blood red sky and Toby's glowing white eyes to his clean self, to him wearing a mask with one eye hole, and back to his clean self, but with the static effects on him and then his eyes. Best experience I've ever had when I watched "The Blood Red Sky"!!!
I loved the small changes with the imagery, sure it might be an audio drama but I appreciate the small changes and detail you add to this. It makes this come more to life in my opinion. You all did a phenomenal job with this, I can only imagine how long the artwork must've took to make and having voice act, make the soundtrack etc. Etc. Thank you for making this wonderful masterpiece. You weren't lying when you said this revamp would be a really good thing. 👏 I can't wait to see further installments come to the Morgue Files. I love how he's not one of those people who just abandon their loved ones to save their own skins. I understand that pain breaks anyone but it just burns me how people like parents would leave just their own children to suffer.

Okay so I just finished this and I honestly love the whole story and seeing how much it grew from the previous story is really amazing! I love it and it was something that kept me on my toes the whole time :)
After watching this and the other 3 cases a good 5 times. I can theorize that Tobias Adams is a Vessel for The Figure. Or at least someone that resembles a worker for the eldritch being. The amount of connections both forward and backwards from IC and even Sally, as well as all the other mentions of Jack in the news report in the background radio report, are just so perfectly crafted. In tobys case, if calling the police as himself represents him caring to stay in the human world with its human consequences and calling anonymously represents him caring more to protect himself (and for shadow him choosing a future with slender man), then perhaps this was “the universe’s” way of saying Toby was always better off w slender man, or that him ending up as a proxy was inevitable even after he turned himself in. Case #2: Jeff The Killer takes place in 2016, and Case #3: The Mine On Hills Grove takes place in 2010. Case #4 will take place in the year 2000. Once we finish these stories and begin season 2, then we will continue with Tobias Adams and Jeffrey Mason.

Honestly, I can't believe some people are legit complaining about this reboot. It's freaking amazing! I liked the first draft, but this takes what the OG did right and runs with it! And both are leagues above the original story, which was alright but absolutely starved of essential details and "real" characters. Keep doing what you're doing!!!

I have to say this was a big improvement over the original, not only do I like the character of Tobias Adams better than Ticci Toby but I felt like I connected to his character more. Not to mention I love the new content that was added and it was cool to get to see more of Jeffery Mason. I was glad to hear that Wilson is still alive because the original lead us to believe that he was dead. I'm really intrigued to see where this story goes because it sounds like it's going to be interesting. What you have here is truly a work of art and I can't wait to see what else you have in store!!!

I don't usually comment on videos much, but I have some things to say about this one though. This was a nice late birthday present! My birthday was on the 21st and this was amazing to enjoy! I loved the original one when it was about Ticci Toby. But this one? It's still the same story, with a new and original character, with an awesome design that I love. It was still emotional as the original was. And I loved everything about it! Can't wait for more future cases!

When tobys mom started talking about she never asked to be his mom, it made me think of Me and my own mother I know she’s never outright said she didn’t want me but every time I look into her eyes I can’t just see and hear the words. That part just hits so close to home for me. But the overall story of this is just awesome/macabre.

The lines "we can't change the past" and "you can't change the past" in all of these stories hit so hard.
I've watched the whole thing to the moment, meaning I've watched/listened it all chronologically and let me tell you: it felt good getting home from work and listening to it, just like I read creepypasta after getting home from school when I was a kid. It feels like these characters matured with me now. Plus it was a joy to spot which characters were being referred to - like Smile dog, Zalgo, Slenderman. It's just so well written/narrated.
I don't know if you will do more of these chronologically forward because I see that the next is mothman, and it seems it has a 70's setting, but I really hope you do, I want to see how it continues.

This has become easily the best series youtube has to offer and an amazing reboot of classic creepy pasta. Iv always been a fan of the originals regardless of how corny they could be and this is honestly the best interpretation iv seen of these stories and am so hyped to see what comes next. I legit binged through all of the current cases.
Mr. Crotchet’s voice and demeanor really reminded me of Dick Hallorann from The Shining. Especially the part where he lists down all the foods.

I feel like Ticci Toby was only interesting because people like myself, MrCreepypasta, and others, gave him a personality and fleshed him out. The original story by Kastoway featured a Toby who was a Jeff The Killer knock off inside of a Slender Man fan fiction.
The story we told in Case #1 was something completely original that we were very proud of! With this revamp, we simply removed the "Ticci Toby" elements, but kept most of what we did before. We then added extra content into the mix, and we are even more proud of this end result. I hope you can embrace Tobias Adams as much as we have!

It seems like the figure isn't evil (and while people think it's slenderman, David has said it's a horror series not creepypasta) it seems like the figure is neutral however drawn to disturbed or abused individual. Least thats what I got from the first episode, hasn't seen the second yet. Brilliant work
David has said on a QA that the figure makes slaves out of broken people. In my eyes by telling what happened (if it even happened,maybe it can make hallucinations) it gained Tobiass loyalty far more effectively then by force, which will make him a even better slave to the creature. It made Tobias feel like he only had the creature.
And I can’t help but wonder what it is going to use those people for. Like it clearly wants people to die. But why and who? And why can’t it do it ?
And even if it didn’t manipulate the events, why is it drawn to abused and broken people?
The fact that it has no problem with murder tells me it has a very shaky morale (I guess I have no idea who is next on the murder list) If it has no problem with murder, I can’t imagine it would have a problem with abuse

This revamp is amazing!! The visual settings are very accurate based on the change of events; from the visuals of the titular blood red sky and Toby's glowing white eyes to his clean self, to him wearing a mask with one eye hole, and back to his clean self, but with the static effects on him and then his eyes. Best experience I've ever had when I watched "The Blood Red Sky"!!!
I loved the small changes with the imagery, sure it might be an audio drama but I appreciate the small changes and detail you add to this. It makes this come more to life in my opinion. You all did a phenomenal job with this, I can only imagine how long the artwork must've took to make and having voice act, make the soundtrack etc. Etc. Thank you for making this wonderful masterpiece. You weren't lying when you said this revamp would be a really good thing. 👏 I can't wait to see further installments come to the Morgue Files. The story and everything really draws you in and keeps you interested and wanting to listen more just to see what happens next. I love it.

Please read the description! This is not a "new" story, it's a revamp of Case #1. That being said, it's a completely new experience with re-recorded lines, additional dialogue, 12 minutes of brand new content, new character renders, updated score, and much more. This is the definitive version of the story and will serve as an excellent gateway into the rest of the series.
But, David, this update was brought by someone who asked Kastoway about it, three weeks ago! He said that people can still use him as a horror character, just not *creepypasta* . It’s your choice, so I stick by you, man. Look forward to Case #3.
Wade says that people can cosplay or draw “Ticci Toby” (though he prefers they didn’t) but they’re not allowed to use the character in any creative capacity “Even for non profit”. Either way, he is a rude, hypocritical, mediocre creator, and if he wants to kill his own character, I’m happy to help by removing said character from my content.
Anyone who enjoys what I’ve done with the character for 8 years will continue to love Tobias Adams. Anyone who wants Ticci Toby in name only can have Wade’s one story he wrote when he was 12, and this “Chickadee Springs” thing (if he actually finishes it)

1:14:30 - Idk if this was intentional but if it was that is so cool- 333 is an angel number, and it’s specific meaning has to do w looming decisions and trusting ones intuition despite any fears one may have. In tobys case, if calling the police as himself represents him caring to stay in the human world with its human consequences and calling anonymously represents him caring more to protect himself (and for shadow him choosing a future with slender man), then perhaps this was “the universe’s” way of saying Toby was always better off w slender man, or that him ending up as a proxy was inevitable even after he turned himself in. But Idk, just a cool detail I noticed
