Thanks for testing these man, found a seller selling a used RX 6700 XT for about $200. Can't afford a new one because they cost over $400 new.... I got the same CPU too, and my Seasonic GX 650 should be enough to power both of these up.

3060 ti should be better performance wise. Edit: 6700xt are going for a cheaper price right now compared to nvidia counterparts which would make it a better option.
in terms of raw perfomance, they are kinda the same, ofc nvidia games like control or cyberpunk, 3060 ti would be better, rest of games kinda same or one or another a little bit better, but i would choose 6700 xt cuz of vram and its good gpu
@@pasha715 I mostly play FPS games like Warzone and BF, and in those games the 6700XT gets more frames. Right now the Red Devil 6700XT is cheaper than the 3060Ti models, so I think I'll get one
gtav is very unoptimized. 2013 game on a new hardware. it also has an issue that once you hit 200 fps it will automatically stutter. most people cap their fps to 144 to avoid these stutter.

I can see why it’s a hard choice! The 6700 XT is generally faster in games and with 4GB extra ram that could be useful in some future games for 1440p users. RT runs much faster on the 3060Ti and DLSS support is nice, although the 3060Ti is starting to get on the lower end for proper high setting RT in games. FSR2 (DLSS competitor) is gaining support and AMD has announced FSR3 coming in 2023, probably by mid/late 2023. Unless you want RT with max performance to use in games now, I would pick the RX 6700 XT.
Whoever has not bought this combo yet but wishes to buy, Don't. 5600 is ok but if u slightly oc the gpu, u will face cpu bottlenecks. Basically stutters and frame drops when cpu needs to calculate too much. I have it and i am speaking from my own experience. I have faced stuttering and also frame drop issues in NFS HEAT, GoW whegn its rendering a new location. Please pair a ryzen 7 with it, or r5 am5 socket chips

I run a 6700XT/5800x on my son's 1440p 165hz setup. He gets easily above 100 to usually his cap I set at 162fps. He plays mostly older games so the 6700XT is perfect. I also run a 6700XT\5800x on a 4k 144hz 65" in the living room. It handles 4k great as I don't care about the latest demanding games. I still have plenty of games to play through that combined with a few graphic settings changed it plays just as well as way more expensive cards trying to push ULTRA everything. Ultra sells cards and provides me with great used cards to run the same games. When you can barely noticed graphic differences but gain a ton of FPS I see no reason to entertain the Ultra OCD side of my brain.

I mean, otherwise the frames will be different for everyone testing the game since they wont be running the exact same route ingame. But if the game has an option for benchmarking in the menu, it would be the same route every time.
@@BreadwithnoButter I guess. But, that still doesn't make all that much sense to me, since the testbench in a menu is designed to test out the game. So what you get in the bench should be about the same results you'll get in the game as well.

Yes it is, AMD had the better architecture last gen and the better process node. Historically AMD had the better architecture and with smaller die sizes(smaller chips) competed against Nvidia's bigger chips and that's why AMD has usually been cheaper than Nvidia, since they pay for wafers and not individual chips and thus the smaller the chip, the more fit on one wafer the less it costs per chip.

My 1660 super gives better fps in gta 5 then rx6700xt how that's possible bro something is wrong with your pc your GPU utilisation is not 100% it's always below 65%
disable ULPS in msi afterburner after every amd gpu driver install thats what helps the most with rx 6000 stuttering problems, use your personal oc everytime you open a game so the card stay in the clocks it should be, do a clean windowns install and always use ddu to upgrade drivers, lastly most stutters on amd cards happen due to its shader caching in the radeon drivers, everytime you open a game for the first time (not all games are affected by this) gpu has to cache parts of the game so it causes the stutters but thats only for the first time you open the game and should run smoothly for then on until you upgrade the driver and it has to cache everything back again
@@daron1533 i understand this shader cache. but on tx 6000 its broken i have old rx570 and games run fine and 3060 run fine, but only this card shuttering. and on videos game test i see this frametime spikes. this is very bad feels when you use m2 ssd
1,5 to 3% according to Gamers Nexus. That's not more than 10 fps on a 300fps game, and same goes for non gaming app. Take the X over the non X only if they are a few bucks appart otherwise don't bother.

@@neothaone415 the 3600's rams gives an extra of 10-15fps extra in all games with ryzen 5000 series. what mother do you have? the pcie 4.0 also influences
shader caching, thats why, disabling ULPS mode in msi afterburner helps a lot with amd gpus stuttering, but fresh driver stuttering are due to amd radeon stupid shader caching, everytime you open a game on a fresh driver install it has to cache parts of the game in the cache of the gpu of whatever, and that causes the stutters but once its in it shouldnt stutters anymore and runs smoothly
I do think that 550w would be enough, Im also thinking about building kind of same combo and im using 550w right now. Other posts ive seen says 550w would be enough. And by looking at the charts, he gets 275watt left for rest of pc, and there is no way that rest of pc use 275watts...

I have the 5600x, but what I understand it the difference in FPS between that and 5600 is mostly 1-5FPS...for 20-50$ more.
You can overclock a 5600 to match the 5600x.

You dont get the same result on an actual gameplay vs a the test bench. Especially if the game youre testing is a multiplayer.

If you want to go to the newest gen you'll have to go with r5 7600 as that's on am5 as opposed to r5 5600 which is on am4

disable ULPS in msi afterburner after every amd gpu driver install thats what helps the most with rx 6000 stuttering problems, use your personal oc everytime you open a game so the card stay in the clocks it should be, do a clean windowns install and always use ddu to upgrade drivers, lastly most stutters on amd cards happen due to its shader caching in the radeon drivers, everytime you open a game for the first time (not all games are affected by this) gpu has to cache parts of the game so it causes the stutters but thats only for the first time you open the game and should run smoothly for then on until you upgrade the driver and it has to cache everything back again
@@daron1533 i understand this shader cache. but on tx 6000 its broken i have old rx570 and games run fine and 3060 run fine, but only this card shuttering. and on videos game test i see this frametime spikes. this is very bad feels when you use m2 ssd

1,5 to 3% according to Gamers Nexus. That's not more than 10 fps on a 300fps game, and same goes for non gaming app. Take the X over the non X only if they are a few bucks appart otherwise don't bother.
Watching your Forza 5 clip, you're getting above 160fps, which is insane. The other benchmark videos ive watched show people getting around 105 fps at 1080p. What do you think is causing the difference? 46:30
I'm not jegs tv, but that's because Smart Access Memory is enabled and the frecuency of the ram (3600mhz in this case)
@@hiipower25 I have SAM enabled as well, but my ram speed is lower. I believe it's 3200mhz, but that's a huge difference in FPS.
@@neothaone415 the 3600's rams gives an extra of 10-15fps extra in all games with ryzen 5000 series.

shader caching, thats why, disabling ULPS mode in msi afterburner helps a lot with amd gpus stuttering, but fresh driver stuttering are due to amd radeon stupid shader caching, everytime you open a game on a fresh driver install it has to cache parts of the game in the cache of the gpu of whatever, and that causes the stutters but once its in it shouldnt stutters anymore and runs smoothly

I do think that 550w would be enough, Im also thinking about building kind of same combo and im using 550w right now. Other posts ive seen says 550w would be enough. And by looking at the charts, he gets 275watt left for rest of pc, and there is no way that rest of pc use 275watts...

I have this aame settup with the ryzen 5 5600 and the 6700xt but on tarkov on medium setting i only get 120fps hes getting 120 on ultra setting does anyone have angy idea why also it could be some setting in my software i dont really know amd software
