North Edge does nice watches, this is no exeption. The star could be a Swedish officer star, one star is a ensign. I like the functions on this watch. Pity about the 50m. Thank you for your time doing this review.

I cant fault North Edge watches. Mine has been flawless. The battery only lasts a year though. It does compensate for it with a huge number of features.
i bought a skmei 1418 with similar features for $15 but the display was dim and i couldn't get the compass to work reliably. this looks much better. i don't think those are phillips head screws. looks like japanese standard "JIS" to me. a phillips screw driver will strip them.😉
Someone clue me in: I bought my North Edge Apache from Amazon. I’m aware most things from Amazon are Chinese made. Nothing wrong with that. However the info booklet left me thinking my watch is a knockoff of the real deal, due to the Chinese instructions being first half of the booklet, the second half was in English, and Chinese labeling on the package. The watch looks sturdy as hell tho. Are watches like North Edge usually sold like this for money saving purposes? It’s looks awesome. Feels sturdy, but the packing left me thinking I was scammed. Gonna give it a try.
Hello, I wanted to know can i use it for everyday shower and washing hands stuff like that? Because i went on their website and found out that it can’t be used while taking shower or washing hands. It’s just for swimming so I’m not sure how is it 50m waterproof but not shower proof😂 Thanks in advance

Mine using 2 .5years already without battery issue,so maybe you are the unlucky one😅

Other than the original Mars, every North Edge watch I have reviewed has come in a very nice box.
It's a Chinese manifactured watch it's a Chinese man that was in the army that produces these watches 👍
If that hole is for the sensors it's terrible placement
Any idea about its longevity? Like will the casing color fade over time?
I have to sell most of the watches I review so I can't really give long term updates.

A lot of companies don't recommend showers due to the hot water. I guess if you want to take a luke warm shower you would probably be OK.
