Supposed to be the fastest time to climb of any business jet - don't have Global 6000 specs, but the 5000 can climb to FL370 in 18 minutes and the 350 can do it in 14. I'm guessing it out climbs everything else from FL410 to 450.
Sync switch syncs the command bars to the current vertical mode (pitch, vertical speed, or IAS/MACH). This is pretty much my standard technique when hand flying. Switch should be on the left horn of the yoke like most other aircraft, but for some silly reason they put in on the right side! Literally my only major issue with the 350!!!
@@cloudstreets1396 Yes it has FADEC. It's the fastest starting jet I've ever flown. Also best takeoff, landing, and climb performance. So I can live without a bit of automation.
It most certainly is a dream machine and a joy to fly. Amazing takeoff, landing, and climb performance, adequately automated, comfortable and quiet in the upper FLs. Range is 3200nm and it can carry full fuel (14,150 lbs), full pax and bags at MTOW 40,600 lbs with just 4835' TOFL at SL/ISA.
20 million airplane and the PM needs to keep chasing the yoke because they didn’t put an extra Mic PTT switch on the glare shield for example... wondering if real pilots get invited into the design process sometimes...
a glorious ride...
An absolutely glorious machine to fly with crazy good climb performance!
I hear the Challenger 350 can climb to FT410 faster than the Global 6??!!

I get the trim with the left thumb. What going on with the right thumb. Syncing up the command bars??

Very nice...
Glad you enjoyed riding along!
No auto-throttles?
Nope - I am the auto-throttles!!!
@@larrysmith1851 - it at least has FADEC right? My airplane spoils me I guess.

Hi Larry, the Challenger 350 is my dream machine. What is she like to fly? Also whats the range like from London to Abuja, Nigeria?

New camera? quality looks fantastic!
Same camera - just mounted it to side window to get a fuller panel view.

In my flying experience the CWS or 'Pitch Syncoutward
Also a good old fashioned manual trim wheel would be nice. Electric trim only on this one.
