Just found this video on TH-cam. I lived in Hucknall from 1960 until 1983 when I moved to South Wales. Quite a lot has changed around the town centre since then ! Loved the video, cheers.
I spent a few months living and working in Hucknall in "76" and still have some fond memories of my time there. It was a restless time of my life yet I found some happiness and direction there. I have been back once since then and can see much has changed but another visit has worked its way to the top of my must do list.
@dannidog - No problem, as I said I am impressed that you can remember all of the players, the real question from the last comment was - which one of the team is aka dannidog?
The Hunting420 hello. I’m that guy at the top who you replied to that account has been stolen but anyway I’m not at that school anymore I moved to beardall fields around 4 years ago and now I’m at Holgate
@dannidog - I'm impressed that you can remember all of the players of the Hucknall colliery welfare united side albeit you got my name wrong, there are two ahh's in Ga(rr)y Jackson. The only ones that i can remember that are missing from your list are Tony Tongue and Chris Carrington, but that doesn't fit with dannidog? I remember also working down Hucknall Pit and have great memories of those times
A Lot Of Changes Over The Last 5 Years Which I Diddnt Realize. At 1st I Thought This Must Have Been Filmed In The Summer of 2009 And About 4/5.30am But Can't Be As Someone Is In Barclays Bank About To Open Up So God Knows What Time This Was Filmed AS only An Handfull Of People About And Not Many Cars About Either. Quiet Roads And Quiet Streets
