It's nice to hear confirmation that some of the names are working with Glen who worked on DS1, I wonder how many high-profile and/or ex-Visceral people are actually on his team as a whole. I haven't been excited for a game to come out since beating Elden Ring, I have huge hopes for this project and hope it delivers.
Steve Papoutsis (probably spelled his name wrong) who was the lead of Dead Space 2 is also on the team.

I read there are like 30 people from the DS team working on CP

literally everything they talk about is exactly like most every game of the past 10 or 15 years. nothing is new or interesting. thinking about light or sound is part of all games especially horror. this isn't incredible.

I don't get why this game is getting so much hate. Not just on YT, but on gaming forums aswell. Meanwhile the Dead Space Remake gets praised to high heavens, eventhough it's published by EA and looks more like a remaster rather than a remake...

Bruv I love to watch Behind The Scenes of game development. Especially if the people are immensely passionate about the project. I still remember finishing GOW3 remastered and chilling with my dog in bed watching the BTS content on a rainy day, blazed out of my mind.

Glen is the GOAT for this. Man can look at any scene and tell what it needs or why it's perfect. And the level of hands on involvement has me so ridiculously excited to play this game! December 2nd can't come soon enough!

The passion on display and the pedigree of this team astounds me every time I see BTS footage, Callisto is a guaranteed future classic for scivival horror.

The amount of hustle in this man is unmatched. This game will definitely carry the survival horror torch. Definitely a hit coming out in December.
You can just see and feel quality - like I'm not even a horror fan like that but there's a level of polish and next leve this game carries - you know this is the thing with Unreal Engine 5 Matrix set the standard of what is possible - an dnow wejust wait for a Rockstar type of huge investment with full focus to blow us away - everything is there... this is a touch of the future. Congrats and respect to these guys.

Disagree. Carpenter and along with Craven deserve the respect and praise for the films they created in the horror genre but this game is definitely more Guillermo del Toro material. I doubt they drew much inspiration from John Carpenters work, if any. Toro's is horror, fantasy, sci-fi to his core.

Iv looked at his resume of the games his worked on and Dead space was a classic and all the rest were garbage. This is his 2nd shot at survival horror so let's see how this plays out. I have high hopes for TCP.
@@DJGodaryD86 actaully theyre sticking very close to the original game, aside from voicing Isaac which I think is a mistake from everything I've seen it just looks like an all around technically improved dead space. I believe they would catch hell from real fans if they veered too far off.
Glen not only is a creative genius. He is a master at getting a collaboration of a bunch of individuals who specialize in their own fields that blend perfectly to mold a amazing final project. I love seeing this passion. Getting this day 1!
His WW2 game he put out a few years ago was utter dogshit but ok

So true. They don't make sci-fi horror movies often. It's also my favourite genre, especially when it's grounded in a world of hard science.
I think this game will have the best application of the Unreal Engine 4 we've seen so far.
Glen is a fantastic director and has a great team behind him. He knows exactly what he wants to achieve but is also open to ideas and suggestions. Every little detail of the game looks to be crafted to perfection and you can tell they made sure it plays well with no bugs. I absolutely can't wait for it.
Just the sheer amount of detail and quality they are focusing on gives me so much confidence in them. I'm very excited for this game
This game has tons of passion in it.
I've always loved Glenn's documentary about his games. My favorite one was how he described the work process of the tentacle grabbing scene in Dead Space and how it almost got cut out.

I don't want too many spoilers but man I can't get enough listening to all the behind the scenes and developer commentary. I really hope this game is good and gets a lot of support. I love my sci-fi horror in any media and want more

I love how transparent striking distance is, ever since the first cinematic trailer I've been waiting for a release date, then knowing that Glen Schofield was behind it made the anticipation more worth while
I love how a movie from the 1970s captivated these men to use cues from it. One of the best sci-fi films ever movies were soooo good back in the day damn I miss those kind of well put together movies

I remember watching Glen on this channel, during the War Stories series, back when he was talking about how his team approached the issues behind the drag tentacle moment from DS1. What stuck out was the fact that he was genuinely a fan of horror and video games in addition to his passion and energy when building Dead Space.
It's so cool to to see the guys passion and energy hasn't waned since then.
I'm a baby when it comes to horror games but, I loved Dead Space so much even though it scared me beyond measure, I'm definitely going to pickup a copy of this game.

I swear man Glen Schofield is sooo damn generous with his explanations and insights. I feel like I could almost direct a game thanks to the videos he's put out.
Their passion combined with their experience and knowledge is a combination for a special game.
Glen looks, sounds, talks, carries himself and just all around reminds me of my late favorite uncle Ron. I would have an uncontrollable urge to give him a big hug if I ever met him, and it makes him my all time favorite game designer ever. I know he's not my uncle but it's so hard not to be reminded of my favorite person on earth just looking at him. As a horror artist myself, meeting him would be one of the top bucket list things for me and I really hope someday I can. I wouldn't tell him any of that though I don't want to scare anybody lol just watching him always makes me cry a little.

I love listening to Glen Schofield talk. His passion for creating games is inspiring.
Their marketing reminds of how it used to be around 2010 and earlier. You get to see a face and name of the people making the game, they are showing off their process.
The passion is incredible to see and I have a feeling this is going to end up being one of my favourite games. Fingers crossed its well optimized on pc.

There is no way that this game won't live up to the hype and the new survival horror game that other developers look to for inspiration for new projects. Looks very scary and fun this will be a 10/10
Something I noticed is when the creature jumped down from the vent. In previous trailers, when it did, the vent would do this ridiculous unrealistic flip but here it looks alot more natural and real. Lol sounds like a nitpick but that alone shows me that they're aware of what they're making and have that eye for perfection. God I can't wait for this game!

I remember the lighting in some environments in amnesia the dark descent were the greatest experience I had in regard to it, together with the fact that lighting was crucial to gameplay, at some moments I remember having a weird synesthesic feeling of feeding from light sources in that game.
Hopefully fixes are coming soon, especially for series X. If Quality is his main concern they need to get on it ASAP
