@@jkarma3356 well obviously but the implied synopsis of this game is that because of Shez being around, things changed dramatically.
YOOOOOOOO huberts actually making good passes? This ain't real life, the fuck
So, in conclusion, Edelgard isn't drawn to Byleth because of their abilities and personality, but because of their crest and on top of that, subconsciously. Huh... weird. I guess that won't shut the shippers up though.
It's likely both, to an extent. Especially in Crimson Flower/Silver Snow, where there's a lot more time spent with the two together pre-timeskip.
I'd imagine the crest resonance is just the spark.
I think that was already a common theory as she is obsessed with them even in routes where she has almost no interaction with them outside of the opening chapters. It kind of makes it creepy in my opinion as it almost seems outside of her control
@@YingofDarkness To be honest I always headcanon that while the professors command a single class in battle, they all teach everyone equally. So maybe Byleth did spend time with everyone regardless of his house.
@@haihuynh8772 I don't think that works out as we only ever see them teach their own class, but to each their own. Until IS says otherwise we can headcanon what we want
@@haihuynh8772 Yeah, I like to add to that. Perhaps they don't exactly do that, but perhaps Byleth had to cover for some of the other professors during times of distress or... Other things. Like when Manuela had a hell of a hangover, or the other one(can't remember his name) spend his entire weekend without any sleep due to a new discovery in his research, and is utterly exhausted. Likewise, when their father died, the same was done to Byleth.
girls blushing at HUBERT smh
how does this support play out if you messed up and had to send Jeralt and Byleth to the goddess?
How exactly do you get this cutscene? I recruited Byleth during my playthrough of Scarlet Blaze and haven’t seen this.
So even in another timeline, Edelgard is still in love with fem Byleth. We can now confirm their ship is canon even they are enemies.
You know it is not specifically female byleth but byleth in general? Your poorly dressed Mary Sue avatar is not unique
@@williamgriskell7752 Well...Every Fire Emblem game has a "canon" protagonist you know
For Fire Emblem Three Houses is female Byleth and for Fire Emblem Three Hopes is male Shez
@@jimecxd2597 no they don't. Fire emblem awakening established that everything is Canon so there is no Canon gender so take your dumbass Mary sue elsewhere. Also FYI if there was a Canon it would be male because IS and KT the developers of Three Houses coded male byleth as the default for all cutscenses whorelyth is the alternative
@@jimecxd2597 No, that is completely and utterly false. The only reason why FemByleth is marketed more is because she's more popular.
Byleth Is the classic emo gf from thr 1900s

SIIIIIIIIMP!
What's with these lesbian comments about Edelgard? She loves Byleth just as much even if it's Male Byleth. 👀
I dont know why these comments are making edelgard to be lesbian.
Edelgard will behave the same way to male byleth, she is bisexual not lesbian. Stop pushing your fantasy unto her character
As an Edeleth fan, I have mixed emotions here. A big appeal of Crimson Flower is the theme of choice and how Byleth has to choose to trust Edelgard in the tomb to bring back both their respective humanities. This scene implies the crests drew them together. I interpreted the shared Crest thing is supposed to be drawing a parallel between them, and possibly has thematic ties for Sothis' will only being enacted by them working together. Making it the basis for their whole relationship leaves a bad taste for me
Is this a mod?
😏
Me being like: Edie still a lesbian no matter the timeline XD
How is this Edelgard x Byleth when she’s blushing around Hubert.
Nothing against the ship (I like it myself) I just think it’s kinda dumb to assume that, especially considering she barely knows Byleth in Hopes.
I actually like Shez and Edelgard more cause at least they aren’t a brick in 3H.
It's kinda dumb to assume your ship is better than others because you don't agree with it. Unless it's Canon your ship is just as baseless as everyone else's
@@pluna3382 it’s also dumb to assume Edelgard has feelings for just barely knowing someone. Smh and I’m the bad guy?
@@pluna3382 this convo actually confirmed Edel likes Hubert since she's blushing for him, but is only saying that the crest is the reason why she feels drawn to Byleth.
Because Hubert will never be anything more than her second.
Even Monica gives up on that and starts calling Shez her savior and is romantically interested in Shez in their Merc whistle Convo
I hope there is a path where you can kill her in this game, so that she can feel very close to the state I left her in in Three Houses thanks to her dear Ashen Demon.
