@@ISITWORTHITUK on the current tank of fuel over the last couple of weeks the car is averaging (according to the trip computer, which I reset when I fill up), just under 50 mpg. This is mainly short local journey's.
I like the car a lot but having a few issues figuring out how to get the cruise control to actually do more than turn the dash icon blue, I finally got the thing to recognize the thumb drive and MP3s, another issue is if I have the radio on at a comfortable volume, and have the NG navigation running they clash and talk over each other so you can't hear the instruction.
Have just ordered an mg4 trophy LR and a mg3 trophy both were great to drive and feel solid. For perspective my currnet cars are a 23 Bmw 430i and a 22 Audi a1, will save me a pretty penny per month.
@ISITWORTHITUK I sure am, would rather stick the money I save in a bigger house that won't depreciate like every modern day car 😂 these new mgs offer tremendous value for money and do exactly what I'll need them to do.
I went to drive and mg4: today and SSE one in the showroom, I was super impressed by the quality of the interior, I would say a step up from the mg4 . I’ve double checked this and I’m mistaken. It’s NOT turbocharged I’m afraid. I was surprised as the engine certainly fooled me with its efficiency similar to a standalone turbocharged engine of similar size.
MPG is always based on how you drive and as this is a demo vehicle it would have been taken out on test drives before. I haven’t done an official MPG count as I only had a few hours with the car. Spec Figures have been used from MG so it would be best to test yourself.
@@hdvoice I think they compensate that with the combined output as when you camped to other mild hybrids the battery is slightly bigger meaning more power hence the near 200 bhp figure.
I got mine in May, and it was great, until the drivetrain broke at around 2,000 miles. Took two weeks for the dealership to book it in for repair, and they've been prodding it for three weeks and counting. I'm more than a little pissed off because they've failed to provide a courtesy car.
@@ISITWORTHITUK yeah, one would think. I've never bought a new car before (everything before was ~£500 off Gumtree) so was a bit naive maybe in how I handled initially. Someone suggested a buy-back - I'm considering it :/

More foreign currency for the CCP. Eventually the CCP will own most of the motoring brands and we all be the worse for it. They already produce most of the electronics in your home.

I bought a Trophy model at the beginning of May, and am very pleased. It's thousands less than its rivals...
It’s worth it then? 😂
What MPG are you getting usually?

@ISITWORTHITUK not really I need to be able to fit my golf clubs 🤣 I'll be looking out for the mg7 coming to uk though!
With Ford cancelling the fiesta it can only be good news for MG, look out for this car be become a best seller.

there is no turbo in this car, and horse power and torque are quite optimistic. nonetheless it seems like a reasonably good car
You are the first reviewer to say the ICE is Turbo’d , is that correct as most say natural aspirated .. ? Looks good in that colour… 😊
I’ve double checked this and I’m mistaken. It’s NOT turbocharged I’m afraid. I was surprised as the engine certainly fooled me with its efficiency similar to a standalone turbocharged engine of similar size.
Nice rev. Thank you. I dintthink the petrol engine is turbocharged though.
Mg have come a long way. Great looking car.
Looks a bit like the civic
Totally agree
We are getting a yellow one.
great little car for smaller peeps who dont like the thought of having to plug in . PS your example is over £20 k
Thanks for the comments! Do you own an MG3 hybrid? If so what MPG are you getting usually?
Did I read 43.5 mpg average mileage on the centre console? In which case you might as well buy a bog standard petrol engined car!
Better still an AdBlu diesel

The petrol engine one has less than 100 horse power. That’s not a fun car as the hybrid one.

Interior space wise, might as well get the all new 2025 MG HS. It's like a grand or two difference in comparison to the new MG3 hybrid
Hopefully getting it on channel soon! Subscribe to get notified 👍
Think you mean the MG ZS?

I’m getting this on Tuesday 🎉

@@antonychurchill8949 what time and colour did you go for?
How many rpm does the engine run at 130km/h and 150km/h?
No other reviewer says the back is cramped. They all say it’s spacious in the back. For this car category.
I’m close to 6ft2 so leg room was cramped but you can forgive with it being a B segment car.
I don’t know why thy try and sit in the middle, they are really only a 4 seater.
No split rear seat. Big mistake
How tall are you? Are you comfortable?
I’m just over 6ft 1 and it was fairly cramped but for short journeys should be fine👍
It’s worth it if it isn’t clapped out after 2 years and 24k
7 year warranty though makes it a much more safe bet...

Worth knowing
The engine is not turbo charged.
If it was turbo charged, for me that would be a deal breaker.
Looks like a Mitsubishi Mirage in the states 😂🎉
Turbocharged? No. But instead its electric motor gave this MG 3 a big power boast.
BYD SeaLion is a proper Hybrid 50 miles on battery alone .

Why will we be worse for it if they represent excellent value? Maybe this is the wake up the big brands need to be more cmpetative.
the Chinese are fulfilling a need, poor people want fancy tech at budget prices, I'll gladly buy from aliexpress, temu, shien, etc.
