Oulunkylä is a historic residential area in Helsinki, Finland. It’s located about 6 kilometers north of the city center. The neighborhood has been inhabited since the 13th century and was an independent municipality until it became part of Helsinki in 19461. Oulunkylä consists of several sub-areas, including Patola, Veräjämäki, and Veräjälaakso, with a total population of 22,503 and an area of 8.61 km²
