I have Moon, Venus and Mars in Rohini in the 8th. The inner journey began in my teens, nirvikalpi samadhi at 22 and savikalpi Darshan at 31 after diksa. Yes this is a house of moksha. I followed my guru completely, once he found out, he tested me under the advice of Sri Ramakrishna to Vivekananda andnit was confirmed. If you have a good stellium here and its turned inward, its easier to see God and be God as God intended.

i have 8th house moon in scorpio with mars in taurus. what i gather from this is that i am my own partner which means i am meant to be alone. this is very disappointing as i have had enough of being single. i think one positive is that my moon receives aspects from both jupiter and ketu in cancer.

Well, interesting! I have 8th house moon with jupiter in Aquarius. And currently Jupiter is transiting Aquarius. Moon happens to be my ascendant lord too. Life is never ordinary with this combination.
