1. Thai shorts (better than regular shorts because of slit down the slide which is great if you have a lot of flexibility… and allow for fluid movements)
2. Ankle guards (optional)
3. Knee pads (great for sparring safely)
4. Cup (very important gear… for males)
5. Hand wraps
6. Elbow pads
7. Mouth guard (protect your teeth… ensure fitted for you)
8. Gloves (10 ounce for sparring and hitting bags)
9. Shin guards (he likes from Combat Corner - advice to not use pullover… use Velcro ones for training and sparring)
