Isn’t it amazing how you can look on google maps and see the mountain ranges, but you can’t see the beauty until you get to one of the high points and look down??!!! I love the desert!! Beautiful. Take care Larry!! 😃❤️❤️
The views from the ridge were absolutely beautiful and serene. I spend Christmas in DV, and with all the road closures, this would be a great location to hike. Thanks for taking us along!
Yes sir , some other items I’ve found on google earth myself include the Blythe intaglios, the oasis at zzyzx road, and the rock quarry near the end of powerline road, Trona pinnacles, rock faces off I-15, Kelsi sand dunes, calico ghost town, rainbow basin, camp granite, Dixie inn roadhouse, tropico mines, burro Schmidt tunnel, just to name a few so much to see out there
No Airstrip up there. Not for water collection. I have no Ideas other than it's a hot spot for photographers for sunsets and rising of the sun and or moon.
