Really nice one, would u consider doing a complete battle scene with tanks. Possibly in modules that can be added together.
yes, this would be so nice

I love how you can make a small diorama look so big. With all the details everywhere. You are so awesome! Love it and can't wait for your next one.
Yes!! And still not have it end up looking cluttered! Amazing!
when you and your platoon are patroling the dense junge and all of a sudden you hear the ground say

Absolutely amazing - as I said on the last video, this is exactly why I want more kits to be made of eras like Vietnam War.
Thanks to your videos I have started model building myself - I have made a Tamiya 1/35 JS-2 tank similar to your T-34 Berlin model, and now am working on Tamiya 1/48 A6M5 Zero kit. I watch your videos on these multiple times to figure out how to do certain techniques and what order to build my models. Thank you so much for your inspiring work!
Hi. I'm from Viet Nam
Yet again, the music used here fully completes the feel, these videos wouldn’t be the same without it
STOP WHAT YOURE DOING, NEW PLASMO VIDEO
plus where are you from David?
I believe he is Czech. Or he’s maybe from a plastic sprue, we simply don’t know
He's czech, I'm too, some of his former videos were in czech.
I think he is German.
@@cycloopnl defenitly not 😂
Czech ... without any doubt :)
I love it. I have been wanting to try dioramas for a long time.
Same! I chickened out after seeing everyone use a static grass applicator. But this video proves you don't need one!
@@sarulaplays6861 I was told to lightly airbrush the grass in spots with a light shade to give it the yellowish look on the tips.
@@sarulaplays6861 Sometimes having the static grass applicator really does help the grass look more realistic though. Depends on the texture you are going for. You can actually make them on your own if you are up to the task. th-cam.com/video/ZO1jrUL_PLU/w-d-xo.html
David,
I began watching your videos a month or so ago because of your 1/72nd scale armor pieces like this diorama, but I have stayed and am slowly making my way through all your videos because your skills, attention to detail and running narratives remind me so much of my father, a master modeler who passed away two years ago.
He began his modeling in the '40s at a time when "kits" consisted of blocks of wood and paper templates.
When I became old enough to start building my own models he taught me how to use an airbrush and how to make modifications to the--mostly Revell--aircraft models I began building. I never attained his degree of mastery--as a adult he focused on HO/00 1/87th scale trains--but we shared many hours together enjoying our hobby.
I feel a certain sadness watching your videos because I cannot share your work with him, but I also happy knowing that he would appreciate your work and would have enjoyed watching the videos.
Cheers,
Jeff Hess

p.s. also thank you for the Models For Heroes information. I have already boxed up a couple of dozen 1/76th and 1/72nd scale WWII armor kits (Aurora/ESCI, Hasegawa, Fujimi, &c.) that I'm going to ship across the pond.
The moment you brought the surface up to the edge I was just, whomever suggested that to you was wise indeed. This looks amazing. Really enjoyed seeing this come together. Nice work! 👍🏼
Had an idea for what might be a cool yet tricky detail: cast tiny, clear resin “light bulbs” with one end of fiber optic embedded in them. Paint the exposed fiber black/brown to look like electric cords. Then string them in the underground bunker and bundle and connect the free ends to an led source. VC tunnels had lots of “rooms,” with at least one that had a generator to power lights and other equipment.
You8 did a GREAT job on this entire diorama. M113, figures and ground cover are all EXCELLENT especially given the small scale you chose to use.
This is the most detailed 1/72 scale diorama I've ever seen , good work.

The details are amazing. Been enjoying your videos for the last two days. Just unbelievable.
What a cracking little diorama this is ! Especially considering it is in 1/72nd scale - there is just so much detail in it, and the idea of showing the enemy underneath in the tunnels is a total brainwave, just brilliant mate. I think the painting is also worthy of mentioning, to put so much detail on to so small a figure is wonderfully skilled. Anyway, great video, great diorama, well done.
excellent diorama
Jak někdo může dát dislike na tak pěkně video?
As always, your incredible builds captivate me and fire my imagination. Thank you for posting.
I've been always amazed about people making such realistic models. Great work, I love your content!
I used to own those same model kits when I was a teenager and I hope that I can still be able to get them at a hobby store because trying to get them on the internet can be very hard and expensive and I do love to find a hobby store in my area that has those model kits available
I have to learn, write a test tomorrow. A quick look at the smartphone, and what do I see. A new video from Plasmo. Good time for a short break
Great job. The layers of detail make all the difference
I just love the detail put into Model Diorama’s.
ALL that in such a small space - great work! Attention to detail is excellent, love the idea of the VC tunnels. Also, landscaping is very convincing. Well done 👍
I love all yours works you have done so far, but this one is in a high master level.
Congratulations.
Amazing work as always David , you never fail to impress with your work
Such an excellent idea for a diorama carried out with the finest skill. Incredible job :D
Awesome work as usual! Love all the little details, including the enemy fox holes and after some simple modifications the paper leaves look great. As an observation; if you want to add fallen logs and sticks in future dioramas, you might have an easier time gluing them down first before adding your static grass. This is what I do when detailing the bases and making terrain for my miniatures/tabletop wargames; they're easier to glue down early on, and you can easily control the amount of glue and static grass around it.
In Vietnam, coconut trees always grow along rivers. VietCong soldier never built a tunnel near the rivers. My grandfather was a Viet Cong soldier, he taught me a lot of things about how to dig a tunnel.
Cool but so bad that in comunist Viet Cong....

Increíble trabajo te felicito por tus videos, son de gran ayuda para los que amamos el modelismo. Gracias
What a beautifully crafted diorama. Thanks for the awesome videos.
My goodness, such attention to detail. Great job on that one.
Your one of my biggest inspirations for models keep the great work up. 😊
Very nice Diorama. The figures , the plants an the bunkers looks awesome.
Thank you for sharing your expertise. I learn something every time!
Dude, you even nailed the music. 👍👍 FYI: they used sharpened bamboo, not metal stakes. They used to wipe the stakes with human fesses to make the victim sick if the trap didn’t outright kill them. Another great build.
Very nicely done. I'm impressed. That takes a LOT of time and patience
You single handedly got me into tank modeling kn 1/72 scale
PLASMO - magnificent as always!
Awesome Vietnam Diorama !!!!!!!! My Father was in the Vietnam War an he told me a lot about the jungle an the vegetation their. He told me a lot about the Black Palm bush , were if you didn't have your gloves on it would cut right through your hand like a knife.
When you tell a joke in the woods and the bushes start laughing

Another great video - thanks. The jungle looks very realistic, and nice to see how you can use static grass without an applicator.
Superb work !! The attention to detail is amazing.👌
awesome idea, i love the bunker and punji stick trap
You are a pro, while you were doing this art, I just painted my ISU-152 with acrilic white haha
Amazing Work Sir!
Very convincing ,very real looking . Thank you .

Amazing , love your imagination and creativity. Thank you
Ty a Luke Towan jste podle mě nejlepší modeláři dioramat jaký znám.
I like the C-wire on the front. We actually did that with C-wire tied to the hood of our humvees. Easy to role out, doesn't get snagged all over your gear.

Figures looked epic well painted 😊👌
absolute art work! Thank you.
absolutely gorgeous job you have made there
Great job. It inspired me to try a small-scale diorama!
Really good! I've been waiting with excitement for this diorama.
Loving your work on 1/72 scale armour. It'd be great to see you tackle a 1/144 Dragon Armour kit or the Revell 1/144 Allied vehicle set. I would anticipate something amazing in a really tiny scale!
Very beauitiful work. Much respect to you and your time.
Well done, in this small scale. It looks great 👍✌
outstanding work as always your work is all top knotch keep the great videos coming
Another lifelike diorama. This is amazing !!!!!!
Excellent work David 😀👍
Incredible work, like always!👍🏼👍🏼
You nailed it!
I would like to see more similar works, the diorama is very beautiful!
One more detail.. using either air dry clay or milliput, it would be nice to see one of those snakes we see in all jungle war scenes. Great work as usual.
Hi, thanks for sharing.... your attention to detail is great!
