Brother I am also using solar system from 2018 at my home. 1200 units are not gurantee whole of the month and 12th month oct.. nov.. dec.. jan.. and feb will not produce 1200 unit per month and the most important thing is that when we face load shading then wapda will off so we will not gave unit back to wapda. So I think you will save maximum 800 units x 12 month. 5-6 years we will get our 1.6 million rupees back.
If govt rate of unit will increase approx.. 50-60 rupees per unit then it will return 4-5 years. But 3 years is miss guiding and fake information.
You can get better returns by investing same money elsewhere..even banks give more profit than that.

What a misleading video. Lightening arrestor needs a separate bore of at least 70-80 feet and bear conductor (16mm) throughout connected to the arrestor. Cost for lightening arrestor could easily be around 80-100k. Also, panel rate in august is less than 74/watt (as per your calculation, it is 86/watt).

Aaj kal hybrid systems lagana mushkil ho giya he bcz Inverex Nitrox (jo pakistan ka major hybrid inverter supplier he) ke inverters mil nahay rahay. Blkay nitrox ke inverters sirf black mai mil rahay hain or bohot expensive hain. Almost 5 lac for a Nitrox 8kw hybrid inverter.
Units depends upon available light which can't be available 360 days.
So average units around year will be around 15-20 maximum.
why u didn't suggest Huawei, a top-of-a-line inverter? The only brand that is providing a replacement warranty
because it is hybrid and expensive for on grid system you don't need hybrid inverter.
Sir what about batteries health and theri cost after every year ???

We got our 9.81 kw hybrid solar system installed almost 4-5 days ago. Our system has:
- 18 longi 545w solar panels
- 4 phoenix tubular batteries
- 2 tesla infini 6kw viii hybrid inverters
- Structure is made from h-beam (garder) and u-beams (channels) for extra strength.
It cost us a total of 15.5 lac. But we had to buy components (panels, inverters & batteries) ourselves and shop around multiple cities to get the best prices. But the 15.5 lac includes shipping charges as well.
If you need any advice, I can definitely provide some guidance since we just went through the whole process and got it done at competitive rates.

1.5 ton AC consumes about 2000-2200 watts
Fans consume about 80 watts
Lights bulbs consume about 60 watts
Fridge consumes about 200 watt
But on average a 10kw solar system can run 10 fans, 15 lights, 2 ACs of 1.5 tons, 1 iron, 1 refrigerator, 1 water pump, 1 LED TV, 2 washing machines.
Ye kon sa ghar sara saal har maheenay me 1200 unit istimal karta hai? 50% se zyada unit saal k 8 maheenay ya zaya ho jayen ge ya agar green meter hai to 12-15 Rs/unit sale ho jayen ge. Ab dobara hisab kar k bataye kitnay saal lagain ge qeemat nikalnay me or ROI kya ho ga.

The On-Grid system with net metering (in this video), does it charge batteries as well?
No without batteries
No on-grid system can't be connected to batteries. It also stops generating electricity during load shedding. So if you live where there are power outages during day time, on-grid is useless for you.
The system that work with batteries and continue to generate electricity and provide back up during power outages is called hybrid solar system.

What about structure it is included in installation ?
Yes 16 lac includes that. Most companies typically charge 1.5 lac - 1.8 lac for a highted structure of 10kw solar system.
The structure shown in the video is a cheaper one since it's not lifted high up and doesn't need strong/thick chanels and support beams.

@@saeedpof I can do a breakdown for you for a 15kw hybrid solar system. A 12kw hybrid inverter is sufficient for 15kw solar system, so I used 2 tesla 6kw inverters for total of 12kw.
Longi / canadian solar panels = 41,500 x 28
= 11,62,000 (including transportation)
Tesla v3 6kw hybrid Inverters = 170,000 x 2
= 340,000
(Best inverter would be 'Nitrox 12kw 3-phase ip65 hybrid inverter' but it costs around 6.5 lac i think)
Phoenix 185Ah tubular batteries = 44,000 x 4
= 176,000
Elevated beam and garder structure for 28 panels
= 250,000
Net metering
= 60,000
AC & DC Earthing and lighting arrestor
= 40,000
Accessories & cables
= 100,000
Solar company commission / labor costs
= 75,000
Total estimate for hybrid system = 22 lac
Total estimate for on-grid system without batteries = 19.5 lac
I recommend a hybrid system with batteries, instead of an on-grid system without batteries.
My advice to you would be to look for a reputable solar company in lahore that will do a Hybrid system for you in under 22 lac. If companies are not willing to give you these components for the prices I mentioned, then get panels, inverters & batteries by yourself directly from wholesalers. And just have solar companies do the remaining stuff for you to keep total under 22 lac.
Also stay away from Pantera energy and Smart solar because they will charge you a lot more just because of their brand name. Just google for local companies in lahore with good reviews.
The company that installed my system is Islamabad Solar house and they only work in Islamabad and Rawalpindi. But I'm sure there are good local companies in lahore as well.

A 10kW solar system will generate 16000 kWh in a year if it's a good system and cleaned once in a month.
I think 14000-14500 is a good estimate for a tier 1 system that is maintained and cleaned properly.

The inverters in the video are only on-grid/grid-tie inverters and are not compatible with batteries. These systems shut down during power outages, even if the power outage happens during day time.
To use batteries and keep the system during power outages, you need a hybrid inverter and then connect it with batteries. Hybrid inverters cost more than the inverters in the video.

1200 ka seedha matlab sirf 4 ghantay bijli banata he. Aap jaise log jo solar ka kaam karte hen logon ka paisa barbad karne par tulay hue hen. Apni boti k chakar mein dosre ka poora bakra zibah kar dete hen. Agar lagana hi he to solar tracker k saath lagaen ta k 4 ghantay ki bajae koi 7 ghantay bijli bane. Or logo ko faida ho.
The cost of solar tracker is very difficult to justify. Because you don't get peak production for entirety of those 7 hours.
I have looked into production capacity of systems with solar trackers and it's not that much higher. Infact, it's better to just get a bigger system with more panels and bigger inverter instead of using solar tracker.
So they are not misleading. Return on investment is a really important factor to keep in mind.
Just 1 month ago my relative install solar system of 10KW which cost them 12 lack 44 thousand rupees, it has 17 solar panels of 550watt and 2 5killowatt inverters is this expensive installation?

@@muhammadahmad4066 But many solar installer do not tell you that when you install 10 kw system than it should atleast produce 12000 watt of energy because there will be losses of energy and and amont of energy left from 12000 watt will come down to 10000 watt of power.

Just 1 and half month ago, prices were actually a lot cheaper. They just went up like crazy within the last 5-6 weeks.
Another huge difference maker is the structure and inverters. The most common structure is the highted structure made up of garder and beam. They are really expensive.
Maybe your relative got the cheaper roof mounted structure?

Very misleading. Solar export unit price is 10 Rs while DISCOS charge you at the rare of 33Rs off peak. So 1 unit will be equal to 3 solar units.
Means if you export 1200 units to Wapda. At off oeak time the max units you should consume is 400
No in most places it's 'unit ke badlay unit'.
What you are talking about is, if you try to get money for the units exported to wapda, they will buy units from you at the rate of Rs. 9-10 per unit while sell you at a higher rate specially during peak hours.
But if you don't cash out your units and just keep a credit towards wapda, then that's not the case, as far as I know.
