Beautiful soaps. I prefer essential oils but they loose the fragance very soon.

Beautiful job!! I have the "soap cutter" mulitcutter! I showed it in my last cutting video! My market are those who are wanting all natural so I use essential oils and some natural fragrances 😊~jc

Definitely have a preference for Essential oils in soaps but there are a few fragrance oils that i use for candles that i don't think i could give up! And i will be following your lead and dehydrating my own orange slices - I can't find any that aren't a weird shade of browny orange.

Thank you for commenting! Question, how much essential oil do you add per pound of soap? That's one of the main reasons I dont use Essential Oils! I just don't know how much to add lol - About the orange slices it's definitely better to dehydrate them at home. I found some on Amazon but like you said they were all brown or a redish color

@@acrylacreativestudio I use essential oils as a percentage of the oil weight rather than the whole soap. I will use the dermal limit as set out for category 9 products on the IFRA for the oil or 3% whichever is the lower. In the UK we cannot use more than 3% ( and that is the total even if we make a blend ) even if the IFRA limit is higher than that. I find I can get the scent to ‘stick’ a bit better/longer if I mix it with clay before blending into my batter.

This is what temp I soap at! Between 89°- 85° 😊

I love 120F but I’ve been doing the heat transfer method lately and I don’t need to check the temp anymore! Have you tried it?

Hi! How is your booth going at painted tree? 🙂

Hi there! To my surprise instead of having more sales with time they have been decreasing and I'm barely making rent. Not sure if it's the location of my booth, my products or it could be that people are just not visiting the store as expected. I'm thinking on not renewing my lease this year.

Essential oils do not have chemicals like fragrance oils do.

I just found an excellent essential oil suplier. I think I might start making more natural soaps.

I soap between 80-100. I think my oils and lye mix choose the temp, not me 😂🤣
