solution solution. so how you do this is you go to device administrators and go there and it won't say anything and put that as off.then you go to application manager and find an app that says nothing. then you'll be able to delete and wah la. I also did it today

Go to Settings -> Apps .. and youll see (maybe 3 of them ) apps without any name. click on it and then , turn off notifications.

I Had To Download An Application For Which I Went To A Small TH-camr's Video He Gave The Link I Installed It Then I read its name it was something diffrent and then notification of ads started popping up and then video ad started coming in my home screen and then the phone asked me "allow to access contacts"

Thanks a zillion buddy. One Ad has been disrupting my game play experience over the last 3 weeks. There's one Extra-Large Pop-up Ad that simply is overlaying and "blanketing" the entire screen. I wouldn't mind had it re-scaled it in few moments however annoying it may have been but this banner is making the game unusable. The only way out was to kill the app and restart it. I've tried numerous other approaches like
1. Installed resizing/re-scaling apps and resized the screen with different resolutions.
2. Installed Ad-blocking app AdAway (had to ROOT my phone to do this!) and tried blocking ad-providers that were triggered when this inactive ad banner was displayed and even tried blocking every in-game ads in Gameloft (used the wildcard *gameloft* in the blacklist) but it wouldn't just work. So. I uninstalled it.
3. Installed Android App Analyzer to see if there are any issues/errors in the log trace. I couldn't figure out any.
4. Unmounted and remounted the SD card on which this game is installed.
5. Cleared system cache, game cache (NOT data!).
None of the above worked.
YOU NAILED IT. It was indeed an ad "pushed" by Google onto the Gaming app (asphalt 8) I was using. Thank you once again!

I've even tried selecting 'stop seeing this add - repetitive' because I want to support my favourite TH-camrs but that wasn't working. I juststarted seeing MORE adds more often.

If the above doesn't work for few of you, you can also got to Settings - Google - Manage Google Account - Data & Privacy - History Settings - Web and App activity - Turn Off (or pause)

THANK YOU SO MUCH! My AdChoices popups were so bad that, even when my phone screen was off and locked, ads with audio would start playing. When I was sleeping at night, these ads would go off and wake me up. I'd have to unlock my phone, close the ad, and lock the screen. Sometimes I'd get six ads in 10 minutes! Infuriating! So far, this has worked. I have 5 google accounts on my phone. I had to turn off ad personalization for all 5, but only opt out once for the phone.
