    Spring Schedule
Our Schedule may vary, but expect a new video every Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday at 11AM Central!
How Farms Work by Ryan Kuster is a TH-cam channel based in rural Potosi, Wisconsin. Our mission is to teach those who didn't grow up on a farm what the farming life is like. These videos show the Kuster family working together raising cattle and crops. We believe everyone who wants to know more about farming should be able to share the farming experience with us and we look to educate the world on many essential agriculture topics.
How Farms Work takes place on ~1,100 acres with around 75-200 cattle at any given time. Four John Deere tractors are currently used on the farm, which are a 4020, 4640, 7600, and 8235R.

Sucks to hear about the tarp issue, but just look at it this way, at the rate you're going there won't be much left to fix here shortly lol. Thanks for the update, hope you guys are enjoying the spring weather!

I bet and I’ve seen it on last falls videos when you were underneath the trailer spraying the doors down, what you got going on with those hopper doors is rust jacking between the door and the rails that the gear turns on causing it to turn hard and rough because the rails are not straight like they should be. Had the same issue on one of our trailers, put new rails on and all new bearings and you can turn it one handed effortlessly now to open with a load on and 1 finger will turn it to close it. Doesn’t take long, not too spendy and it’s not a hard fix at all either. Hate to see you break your back from trying to open them!
