Hi Dj Thanks for your help My sister is in Canada so just a quick question regarding T2202A you said we can get some refund cuz International student is paying tution fee. My question to you is even if the income is zero still can she get some refund.
If your sister attended school and have eligible tuition fees, she must file a tax return in order to claim the credits, even if she is not using them. She might not need to use the credits this year, but in order to carry forward or transfer them, they must be reported on your current year tax return. And she will be eligible welcome canada benefits. I hope it helps 🙂 if u have any other questions let me know
