Mark, I can't thank you and Eddie enough for the videos you continue to post. They are educational as well as entertaining. You have taught me personally how to situate logs to get the best results. I built a 1/4 scale American Sawmill many years ago for demonstrating at old engine shows around the area, but I had never actually worked at a sawmill so I made a lot of mistakes. Stay well and warm. Loren

I think some people are confused as to why the magic number of a 54 inch saw blade is 22 inches and not 27 inches. I assume it's because the carriage is above the saw blade centerline.

@@markgalicic7788 pulled 48” reinstalled 40”. A subscriber recommended a saw doctor but I haven’t taken the wobbly 48” to him yet.

You and Eddie work well together. Are you related? Did you work together before sawmilling? Has he expressed an interest in learning to be a sawyer? If you had health issues he could fill in. Maybe you’ve told the story of your friendship and I somehow missed it. Good job.

Eddie and I are good friends like brothers, we started sawing 29 years ago with a 1984 meadows #1 sawmill then got this Edmiston mill in 2018, no Eddie never wanted to be the sawyer
