Another compact yacht that underscores the creative ways boat builders MUST be inventive when faced with a "small boat design". Three cabin layout makes this a real vacation vessel. Plus, it's equipped with my favorite motive power - IPS Drives. AND (here's an Aquaholic influence) at LESS than half a million quid this is a bargain boat.
    Thanks again, Nick, for sharing...

Can anyone tell me the quality/reputation ‘order’ of yacht manufacturers? Like cars have Aston Martin, BMW, VW, Skoda as an example? I only ask because this seems like great value compared to some other boats tours on Aquaholic, is that because they are a less well respected brand?

If you buy an older boat you have a couple of advantages because you firtly as you already said can get a bigger and more luxurious boat and secondly the boat allready was used so there is a couple less problems because at the beginning a lot of thing tend to break or have small problems. But a disadvantage is that the engines and other stuff is quite old and may have to be replaced. But there is a great video by yachtsforsale. I think it is called "should I buy a new or a used yacht?".

Usually you like or dislike a boat. A bit like Marmite lover or not. No accounting for the tastes of some people liking the horrid stuff (I won't mention who). This boat has me liking and disliking it at the same time.
I think it is a boat for a couple to liveaboard or to go for a bit of extended cruising on. The storage under the galley floor will take a lot of packaged food, tins, bottles etc. The freeze and fridge are decent sizes with the freeze not being the letterbox stuck in the top of the fridge you often see in similar sized boats. But then you have the waste of space (and money) all dancing helm seat. Just put a decent sized tv in a cabinet in the space behind it and you can all watch the tv from the nice big U-shaped sofa opposite. That also does away with the stupid rising from the dead mini-tv that only a couple sitting at the end of the sofa can watch comfortably. If you are doing any long term cruising in her. Movie night with a decent size tv is an essential item.
Pity she is not the mid master cabin version, perhaps you can go back and see one later on Nick. The same goes for the flybridge.
The seats at the bow look very nice for lounging with a cup of tea and toast (or a book) first thing in the morning. The sun cover at the back I can see spending a lot of time extended whether in the Med or UK waters, but nice to be able to put it in when you want.
Like I said, I think this is a really nice boat, but some things need removing.

Another beautiful boat, although I think I'd send the designer who came up with the hatch lift mechanism back to the drawing board. I have to say one of the many things I like about Aquaholic's videos is that he doesn't bother with a title section at the beginning he's straight into it, on to many short YoutTube videos people insist on adding opening titles which I find irritating especially if you are watching more than one at a time. Ace !

I think the table lifts off, to allow the hatch to open a lot more.

Excellent layout, but I was very concerned when you raised the engineroom hatch and watched you maneouvering down. That strut looks like it is in a very awkward position and nasty accidents could happen!

Nice but it feels expensive. For that sort of money I'd be more inclined towards the Greenline Hybirds.

Another great boat tour. Great content from someone who obviously has a passion for the boats too. Loved your recent series on getting out on your own boat. What would be great is a series covering the rough costs of owning a boat like your own, fuel, mooring charges, annual maintenance costs etc and a breakdown of what needs to be done to keep it afloat and "ship shape". Keep up the great work.

Lovely boat. Love the helm seat sofa idea. Really innovative.
You missed what was under the stairs though!! Clearly a hinge at the top. Possibly storage, or a washer dryer perhaps 🤔 we will never know 😉 😜😄.
Thank you for another great video Nick. Xxxx

Hi Nick....was there storage under/behind the stairs down to the Cabins, such as a washer/dryer..?

Actually a very well done layout. For a 43' boat, the cabins aren't terribly small (and there are three of them!). Should be big enough to take a couple of friends for a long weekend along the coast. Thanks, Nick!

I like this boat, the layout etc, but I can't afford it and I real don't need 3 bedrooms. One bed but similar layout for galley sitting areas and opening roof etc please. Based on this tour I would be interested i seeing more Sealines

Why don't boat builders raise the deck so the aft cabin has more headroom?

    • @AQUAHOLIC
      @AQUAHOLIC  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

Because that would raise the floor in the saloon so to get headroom over that you'd have to raise the roof above it and you'd end up with an extremely odd looking boat

Fairly interesting little boat - bit of a squeeze to get three cabins in though. I think it's a true two cabin, rather than three. Also quite a good value proposition for £400k - but a lot of "IF you'd prefers...". IF one did prefer a hydraulic platform, and IF one required a flybridge, and IF one wanted a generator, and IF one would rather a proper master cabin, and IF one then hankered for the less anaemic engine option - any idea what the true cost would be?

Even after watching the video I still can't get my head around how they were able to get 3 usable cabins down below. Just amazing. A little surprising that there was no generator but engine room access looked perfectly reasonable. Price is also perfectly reasonable. Can see this boat performing multiple roles anything from entertaining at the dock to a summer on board hopping between ports whenever the mood strikes.
Another well done, thorough and informative video.

If i saw this id say id cost around 800 to 900k but for a 400k yacht this is a rally good deal and you have more than enough space to live in
