I like how Rin almost got stumped when he was trying to figure out how I was flying in my clip 😂. For those wondering, I used a glitch known as anti-gravity, which causes Link to be unable to fall. Rin explained how to do it pretty well I think
12:37 He's fusing a Farosh Horn. See the *+26?* Dragon/Gleeok parts have greater AOE than gemstones. Also, Riki's spacing is amazing! The Thunder helm gives _lightning_ immunity, not shock resistance. Any closer to the explosion, and he would have gotten zapped!
I figure that another reason why they left the "tricks" in the game is so that they don't have to provide puzzle hints - it's an escape hatch for people who just can't figure the originally designed solution out!
They have already found a way to do that! Just shoot some breakable rocks with a multishot bow with opals fused to the arrow. Shoot roughly 7 times and a blood moon shall appear!
theres a specific cave that if you shoot a specific spot a couple times with a multishot bow with opals fused a bloodmoon appears (i think thats how it goes)
Hi Max, you probably already know this , however it was a shard of Farosh's horn to create that amount of lightning. The damage from the Gems is overpowered!, I like it!
Thank you for being a real one & actually having a passion & working knowledge of the game mechanics to share with us. This video is excellent. The vast majority of "game journalists" today, instead of doing their job, use their platform to artificially & inappropiately inject their all too often dogmatic & abusive ideologies onto video games, slandering the creators & player bases in the process. It's disgusting & highly destructive for our community. This has truly been a breath of fresh air in our modern gaming environment. Thank you🤙
Zelda devs have always put thought into multiple ways to solve and adapt to their games puzzles BOTW and TOTK have expanded that to include multiple ways to navigate just about ne puzzle and environment They were aware that various ages and intelligences would be playing their games Shows how much care and passion they put into their craft💯
I think in that thunder clip instead of a topaz at the end it is a dragon part because you can see the the fuse adds 26 extra damage and topaz only does one (not including the electric damage).
I have discovered a secret. Well im not sure if it is but i never did it in botw or have seen it done it totk. But when on horses if you are stood still and hold sheild you can actually side step with it.
3:19 I doubt that. If this were true they would have allowed us to take Zonai devices out in shrines. Truth is keeping us from taking them out in shrines is the best they could do without doing a lot of work.
This is 100% true, and has even been confirmed by Nintendo in an interview. The way Nintendo designed the shrines in this game is more like mini tutorials disguised as puzzles. Each one introduces a mechanic, item, or property that can be used in the overworld afterward. The thing is, for some mechanics that are very important to learn (For instance, take the shrine with the bouncy ships in the Rito questline. Missing a ship in the shrine means you just void out, missing a ship in the overworld means you could lose a ton of progress.), there is basically no way to skip using the mechanic in the solution. While other puzzles are much less practical outside of the shrine, and are more lenient with the solutions. Nintendo knew what they were doing with these shrines. Also, if they didn't want you to rocket shield, they could have made Zonai devices from outside of the shrine just not work, and they could have extended more walls all the way up to the ceiling.
Technically true but we knew what was meant by it. That said who knows, maybe he does have expert knowledge on Zelda games overall🤷♂️. If so I'd like to see them use him for it.

funny how rin always makes sure everyone knows which tricks HE came up with or was involved in inventing 😂
I could watch these videos all day. Keep em' coming Max!
A few months from now I can see these tricks getting so ridiculous that they trigger a panic blood moon 😂

Not to be mean, but
1 the closest dragon name to Nyrera is Naydra (the ice dragon)
2 it’s a farosh horn.

Your version of rocketing your way through the shrine was 10x better than the original clip lol
it was a farosh horn in the lightning montage clip
