- Tang Dynasty Dance in Xian and originated in China's Tang Dynasty over 1,000 years ago. Not sure how accurate it is but supposedly it has been recreated here in accordance with historical records though I imagine it has been highly stylized. Non the less very beautiful and entertaining.
Just visited china and i got a very good impression of chinese people culture, history and hospitality. They are very nice, beautiful and loving people.
I love their music and dance, I am looking forward to my next trip to china too and i would advise all of you to make a trip to china and have a chinese impression. One thing more, china is very cheaper wrt tourism.
I agree with those who are concerned with "Tang-ness" of the dance. It seems to me more analogous to Han Wu. Many of the Shen Duan are similar
They are beautiful dancers. it makes no difference where it is Chinese song or Korean music. Music is a universal language
One of the best video on this dance! Well done!
nice! tang dynasty culture is beautiful - the art, dance and buildings. thanks for postin =)
wow, i remember watching this sort of performances way back in grade school and high school at kiao tiong.
Superb 💐keep it up🌹
TERRIFIC VIDEO.. BEAUTIFUL MUSIC & PEOPLE.. THANKS.. HAVE A GREAT DAY.. AMUNRA..
Watched this show in June and fell in love with this song! Please someone find out the name of this song for me!!!
I have performed this type of dance. Same costume, same music and the formations are the same but their moves are so much more smoother and complicated than mine T_T
Good video, though.
It's mimicing TaGe, which is a dance describing girls in Han Dynasty...here they added some Tang dance elements, but the costumes are still for Han Dynasty...making it a bit mixed..............
Found this relaxing
Nice capture =]
the style and movement is from Tang, definitely.
they dance gracefully and beatifully it reminds me of mulan
the girl in the green dress killed it lol
DANCING ASPARAGUS!
i imagine they are symbolically representing seaweed, maybe because of the green or maybe leafy branches swaying in the wind
The song name is "Ta Ge"
(youtube)Beautiful Chinese Dance【1】Spring Outing Dance
The name is: 踏歌 translated as " Stepping Song"
It's called "Spring Outing".
Thumbs up for your name
no, that is from dynasty of nanbei chao.....
Go do more searching. Quanzhou and zhangzhou fujian still retains the old Three kingdom, tang and song tradtional music. Their language also belong to the entire.
@520adda thank you very much. you are wanderfle. thank you. very intelligence!
@mybach1960 U are right
Can someone link me to the song??
i wonder whats the title of the song
what is the title of the song??
great...but maybe the dance clothings can choose something brighter
No its no for the han dynasty was my centuries later and also it has to by the tang dynasty because thats when art, music, and technology flurished and telling also by the way they dress is a tang dynasty dress because of the light and long material sleeves. also to i went to china and went to xian and it was the onld capital of china during the tang dynasty and maybe other dynasties also there for it's not from the Han dynasty but its the Tang Dynasty.

Sian = Heiankyo = Kyoto
Seppuku = ancient Chinese law
Rice cultivation = Han Dynasty
Cattle = Han Dynasty
Too bad Tojo did not understand as well as you.
Nonsense. No wonder you are marshy.
Sounds a bit too modern
it looked as if they don't have arm...sorry
This is not Tang Dance
You seem to have far more interest in Korean and Japanese culture so for you to claim that you know exactly what kind of music was being played in a culture you have no expertise or interest in over one thousand years ago is just absolutely ridiculous.
Chinese, Korean Japanese and Vietnamese share similarities - sinitic cultures.
