- In this video I will show you how to get through temples quickly without risking wasting time missing orbs. You may even start o enjoy doing them!

This method is for young Starborns having trouble with getting to these orbs fast enough (you only need 5 ) Phase Time is a power automatically given to you at the conclusion of the main storyline. You can do your temples after. As stated in the video, I don't need this method, but if you are having trouble this will help you until you have more points in your skill tree. Plus, have some fun, you've a lot of these to go young Starborns! Do cool stuff while you are in there!

In my over 300 + hours of playing I NEVER thought of using my powers to slow down the activities in those temples, thank you for this tip! I will definitely be doing this from now on 😊👍🏾
Makes it so you don't miss at least so you get out of there at guaranteed rate. Even at NG 12 I still miss or think I got it and didn't. Plus its neat to watch the rings crack in slo mo 😎😎

That’s good advice! Using phase time. Never would have thought of that. I was getting so frustrated with temples and been unconsciously avoiding them, but got phased time and like it. I’ll try it on the next temple. 😊
If you’re on PC, press left shift to boost faster. Aim toward the orb, THEN hit the boost, otherwise you might boost in the wrong direction. I was able to get a few of the temples before I even figured out I could boost. Now I almost never miss an orb. It’s not too difficult.

Thanks Jack! When I staryed doing these, it was taking like 10 mins. I was literally cursing the devs outloud like "Whhhhhhhhhhhhhhhy" 😂😂 I just learned it only takes 5 and I am NG 12. Eventually when you have your boost pack and gymnastics maxed you can do these way faster than this method, but you wont be in there for 10 mins missing orbs doing it this way, until you get maxed.
Great video (again) - I didn't realize ppl were having trouble with the temple puzzles, but here are my additional tips: the orbs run on a countdown - 1st orb lasts several seconds, no need to rush. Each subsequent orb disappears faster. For me, I am able to get orbs 1-4 by just normal flight and no boosting. I find that boosting makes it more difficult, because you have to boost in the opposite direction to stop and turn around. I always use the far third-person view to see as much of my surroundings as possible. And last: the fifth orb always disappears immediately - if you ignore it and wait for the next orb, you'll have more time to get to it. Hope this helps!

I just put my back to the wall in 1st person and wait for the first orb to start loading: "fly" to it, quickly turn around and wait for the next to appear. You have to collect five in total but if you take too long you'll have to collect more and then particles will accumulate toward the center of the rings and you then fly toward the center when the rings stop spinning.
Yep, that's it. Level up your gymnastics. Keep moving to keep your momentum up. Go about two thirds up the wall, and as you get close to the orb turn around so you coast backwards through it.
Yep, however miss one and you have to start all over again. Phase time guarantees under 2 mins for those having trouble. I once spent 10 mins on a temple NG plus 1. Even at NG 12 I still miss. lol. Plus this looks so much cooler. Hopefully this will save new players time so they wont get frustrated and give up on the temples, even worse, the game. Thanks for the tip for future and more experienced Starborns though.
@@SistaCitizen But... you don't? You just have to do one more. You have to collect a total of five. They get harder toward the end and it's easy to just BARELY miss them, but it's always just five.
@cdarklock Again. just trying to make it easy and fun for new people, especially who dont have the skill points built up yet to invest. I guess if I miss the 5th one or any before feels like starting over, lol, and your momentum gets screwed. Most people dont hover in them long enough. I read one guy said it took him 54 orbs, lol. Probably missed them or didnt wait for the chord to change. This just keeps all temples easy peasy and under 2 mins. At least until you get the hang of them, and to mix up how you do them.
@@SistaCitizen Phase time is definitely a good solution, once you like... have it. After doing several temples.
The 54 orbs report doesn't pass the sniff test, because the temple will pity-complete if you take too long. It has to, so you don't get trapped in the temple forever if you suck at this.

Good helpful vid starfield is my favourite sci fi game after no mans sky . Cant wait for the expansion in autumn and to see what the vehicles are going to be like would be cool if they can be edited like ships . checked your other vids have subbed and pressed the bell hello from Scotland

Great video. If you want to go a bit faster upgrade your Gymnastics skill so you can move faster in zero-g
I use phase time on the final orb. I find the first 4 pretty easy but that 5th one always appears so far away. Phase time let's me get there "quicker"
I dunno. I’m on NG+4 now and I usually need about maybe 6 orbs and then it’s over. No fancy tricks. Just regular old boosting. Perhaps the requirement reduces depending on NG runs.

I can usually knock off a temple in 4-5 orbs. Every once in a while its 6 and that gets annoying. lvl 170, 8th NG+ for this character, with maxed out boost pack and Acrobatics. I never tried STOPPING in the orb before, i was always of the opinion that hitting them with speed is the best. but maybe not?? I'll try this just to see what its like. thanks!

This isn't "on topic", but (in relation to last Thursday's post) I figured out how to get both Lucas Drexler's Uniform and the Ryujin Security Uniform...no codes, no murder, no bounty!

@@SistaCitizenThese are lengthy details, but let’s start with the easy one…
Drexler’s Suit - There’s a point (in ‘Sabotage’ mission) where you use manipulation to get Drexler to open his office. If you wait and allow him to come out of manipulation he’ll become an aggressor when he spots you, but may briefly withdraw if you keep your distance. If you shoot him at this moment he’ll die, but it won’t count as a murder.
The Ryujin Security Armor - To start you’ll need three things…1. Chameleon Helmet, or Spacesuit. 2. The Operative Suit (could be useful alone, but I wouldn’t rely on it). 3. The “Instigation” Ability (level 1 should be enough). Equip the chameleon gear. Use a jetpack and get to the grated platform (above the animated billboard) to the left of the Ryujin entrance on Neon. From this perch, crouch (save the game) and use “Instigation” on one of the guards at the entrance (DO NOT USE IT ON THE GROUND as you’ll get a bounty regardless of being concealed…for some dumb reason). After the shooting ends go down and get your armor.
NOTE: It may take a few tries to get the armor; however, you can try deliberately attacking on the ground before the above steps to trigger a quicker drop. Reload and then do the steps. You will get the armor at some point…no fuss.
I personally didn't find any difficult to grab these orbs... they appear (5 times) and you just need to go in them... 😅 just don't take too long!
I didn't see any floating orbs, nor needed to chase them. Hell, didn't even enter a single temple in my NG+ playthrough.
If you're playing Starfield (modded) on the PC and have the BAKA mod downloaded, one special key saved me a lifetime of aggravation. The key: "~"

Until the creation kit on console, this will at least keep each temple under 2 mins for people having trouble. I love getting my powers. Makes them feel earned. Thanks for the comment.
God, I hate doing the temples, I find them extremely boring. Whoever came up with this game mechanic it must have been on their day off😒. Not to mention you have to travel back and forth to Vlad every time.
Yeah, I agree. It does get easier as you level but still. I remember literally yelling "WHHHHHHHYYYYYYYY?????!!!!!!" my whole first round of temples. I would rather Boss fight for powers. Thank you for your comment!
The temples are not difficult, they are just a dumb mechanic that feels like it should be in a children's game.
