DAY 1️⃣
MANDVA TO DIVEGAR
Finally, it was the day when we started our dream ride from Mumbai to Goa.
Cycling is the best exercise for your body and cycling with some adventure
is more better for your wellbeing and revival. Therefore every cyclist should do such kind of journey's in their lives atleast once.
Route Map : Ferry ⛴ to MANDWA ➡️Alibaug➡️Revdanda Fort➡️Kashid Beach➡️Agardanda⛴ Dighi➡️Diveagar
We started our ride from Mandva Port Around 9:00 AM as soon as the ferry dropped us.
After riding for 10 kilometres we stopped to have breakfast
We had some technical breakdowns for which we had to take a pit stop at a mechanic shop to get it fixed.
After having breakfast and getting the bikes fixed we moved on and started riding at a pace of 25 km. The road was quite clear and therefore we could ride without any obstacles.
After riding for 35 kilometres we took a stop at RevDanda Fort.
We did not wait for long and took off and started our ride towards Kashid Beach for lunch.
After taking a break for one hour we got ready and resumed our ride towards Agardanda port
The terrain was quite flat and less rolling hence we were riding at a pace of 25 km.
Later we took a small break to have Sugar cane Juice
It was 75 kilometres and we reached Agardanda port.
After boarding the ferry it took 20 to 25 minutes to reach Dighi
port.
The climb started after reaching the port and it was around 6 pm.
We had to reach Diveagar before sunset and make arrangements for the night's stay
To our surprise, all the hotels and lodges were full due to the long weekend which we never assumed.
We could also hear that the tourists were returning due to the unavailability of hotels.
Still we all three were trying to reach almost every hotel and lodge and for occupancy but failure was the only thing to face then.
Siddhesh was going door to door asking for a homestay, but this did get him a positive reply from a person where there was a room available for three of us and that was a sigh of relief.
