Your videos are much better than the content you discuss in them with the sequels... It's almost kind of a waste
Not that your videos aren't still entertaining.... It's just not as compelling when the lore of the sequels is just a hot mess of inconsistent nonsense and your analysis of this just has a sifting through the rubble vibe at a certain point.

Good video... But nothing makes sense about 7,8,9... How did the get the materials, the crew without th republic knowing/hearing about it. Both the first and final order.
Without anything to start with they build both fleets/super weapons. They kidnapped a shit ton of children etc... 10.000 ships... Crews of 20.000 ( taken off 3000 old empire people)... That's about 200 miljoin human ( first and final order seem to be human only) kids for the army... And that's just for the final order fleet. Not the first order, or ground army etc etc.
And all the resources it takes to make these etc... Just a other jj plot hole.
      Think your reasoning is sounds.
      But it's just to insane.
Hundreds of million kids abducted for the amrys. All the time and effort to train them.
Making 2 super weapons for the first order, while making this fleet. With any of this coming back to the republic.
While being in the unknown regions....
      Yeah nope. Just nope

It seems the Star Forge or something similar was being hinted in the concept art as being essential for the fleet buildup. It’s too bad, that would be a great addon. It explains so much: how the fleet was created, why there’s so many people just living on an ice rock on Exegol, why Palpatine even bothered going to Exegol in the first place (to find the “origin of darkness”, a Star Forge).

Would be a massive improvement for sure. But still then that would have been needed to be build up in the movie itself in a satisfying way. Or... even better that could have been a subplot for episodes seven and eight, just like Palestine returning at the end of episode eight would have been much better.
But that would have required a lot more planning before they started making these movies.

We are made to assume that the empire learned a lot from the first death star which allowed the fast and cheaper creation of the second one and also made it possible to eventually create smaller death star tech as seen in the last jedi and the rise of skywalker. Don't think too much about it because in a big galaxy there is always an unlogical logical answer.

Did their animation software crash when they attempted to move the massive cut and pasted fleet on the Y-axis? Did they write all the star destroyer pilots to be nothing but Karens who argued with the rest of the bridge crew when told to just fly straight up? Did someone leave the air brakes on? Did they forget to fill the star destroyer space-DEF tanks before taking off triggering limp/idle mode right after rising out of the ground? When they stopped, was that the moment when the non-local-metaparticle and an anti-backwards crystal were brought together rendering their fuel completely useless?

While the Xystons may not be Imperial 1 refits it is still possible that Palps sent out fleets of Imperial 1s into the unknown regions and had those ships cannibalized and broken down for materials with which to build his Xyston fleet. We already know he had seeded fleets of ships in the Unknown region along with The Eclipse so it’s likely the Sith Eternal broke down a lot of these ships for parts and then used schematics from Kuat to build them and subsequently burry them under Exegol to hide them from both the New Republic and First Order

Ya know, I kinda thought of a way they could’ve done Luke’s character far better while also hinting at the return of Palpatine (or what I would’ve preferred far more, Abeloth) basically make it so when the First Order began to rise Luke could feel a massive disturbance in the force, at such an extent that he had never felt before, so he went to the island in search of knowledge but didn’t tell anyone so as not to cause unwarranted panic, he wanted to be sure before he told anyone, but when he arrives a storm knocks out the controls in his x-wing and causes it to crash, essentially stranding him and leaving him with no way to contact anyone, and while there he learns that something old and terrible is on the brink of returning but he can’t warn anyone to it’s coming, this could also be Kylo’s reason for turning as maybe he feels it too and believes that Luke has abandoned them as Luke had no way of telling anyone where he was, so he falls to the dark side to try and gain the power to oppose what is coming, and the whole time Luke is on the island waiting for someone to arrive, desperately hoping they will be on time for him to warn them of the coming calamity and for him to be able to train others to help him face it. It’s pretty rough and obviously would need more detail and probably a better explanation for why he didn’t tell anyone and why the map was in two parts but I would’ve liked something like that far more than what we got

Someone in The Empire developed a device that could change the size of an object and then Palpatine ordered 10,000 Star Destroyers to travel to an unknown location which were then made bigger using said device.
The ships were made bigger just so the new planet-killing lasers can actually fit on the ships which would take a lot of time & resources to develop & manufacture....but the ships would've already been taken care of.

This throws up even more questions than answers. How can the "secretive" Final Order siphon off enough resources and man-power that not even the Empire had? Furthermore, if, production capabilites and interconnectivity existed within the Unknown Regions, one would assume that they would be more included into the wider galactic community. We've been told that the Unknown Regions is a mostly dispopulated area that has very few stable hyperlanes, so somebody would have had to notice the vast amounts of freighters, transports and material going into the unknown regions. Furthermore, where do all these people come from? Yes, some of them are "poached" from the First Order, which is still actually a fringe organization far smaller than the Empire ever was. Did the Emperor somehow transplant all these people from the Galactic Empire to the Unknown Regions? Neverminding the amount of people that would be needed to simply crew the fleet you need a huge logistical network to support such a fleet. Dozens of massive shipyards, mines on a planetary or system-wide scale and all the manufacturing processes inbetween. That would already be a huge amount of people. And even of we say that he's done this since the beginning of his ascension as a sith, and a very generous birthrate of 2 per person, it would still take a huge number of people. If we add all the other essential industries necessary, breaking it down into food, medicine, clothing, combat equipment, basic furniture, and more that you can think of, it seems very unlikely to me that Palpatine could have ever pulled off extracting that many resources without it being noticed, even as Emperor. The whole movie is just so frustratingly non-logical, even in-universe (ignoring the bits were it doesn't stay internally consistent. Frigging shields in atmosphere not working) it's stupid.
And if anybody will argue that the Sith Eternal or whatever they are called have been there since even before Palpatine, what were they doing out there? Just biding their time, being peaceful Dark Side monks? Because they seemed to have alot of galsctic events pass them by, especially the annihilation of the Jedi. Would've been a perfect opportunity to announce themselves then. But then who was their leader? Somebody like Naga Sadow after fleeing from the Jedi?

My interpretation was always that it was similar to the Mt. Tantis operation, using cloning to supply the talent and manpower the Sith Eternal needed to build this fleet. I can see a massive planetside drydock facility churning these out steadily for years, 10000 is a lot but if you can actually dedicate a planetary population and all the planet's resources to the project I think you can get pretty far. You still need the First Order and the preceding Imperial Remnant in the Unknown Regions to provide certain resources, cloning templates, and research in particular, but with all the knowledge of the Empire at their disposal I think they could've pulled it off in secrecy even from the first order on a handful of planets if not just on Exegol

Rise of Skywalker is a carefully crafted treatise on how to make a movie where the audience does not care about the characters or even what is happening next in the plot. It will be studied in film schools for decades as an example of what not to do.

#askeck Why did it feel like the death of the World Brain of Coruscant (formerly Yuuzhan'tar) in Legacy of the Force didn't really do much to affect Coruscant? Shouldn't the death of the entity coordinating the climate and nature of the planet for the last 12 or so years have caused huge disruption?

Great video. No real problem with size of the fleet. In my mind one system should have plenty of resources to build that many ships. I mean the size of the Death Star wasn't a problem, it was working out the issues with the superlaser. I think it's not a good comparison to the Legends 25,000+ Imperial-class either, because I think there would be other Star Destroyer classes, plus smaller and larger ships. In the end that's how you get millions of warships for the orginal Empire. Only bad part IMO was the dumb no shields in atmosphere, they are all in one place, and the Resistance plot armor single navigational beacon thing.

I imagine a IX episode better than TROS. I think Snoke was a fail clone of Palpatine who wants to keep the heritage of the sith turning Ben Solo in the dark side. Snoke willingly let die by Kylo Ren. I create also a sith clone of Anakin with Palpatine DNA. A episode IX in which Rey and Ben Solo after his redemption fight this sith clone of Anakin Skywalker would be so great. At the end, Ben and Rey decide to not create a new jedi order but to share the force bending for everyone.

I have put a little thought into this. I think a false ground layer was established around the destroyers. Similar to the ground in Rebels episode 21-22 with the Sith temple on Malachor. Would explain the rising out of the ground. Would allow you to service and load crew and munitions on such a fleet well waiting for the right time to strike.

Ok, I would accept that the Xystons were built underground - just like the Yamato. But to imagine digging a hole in the ice a 1km long and 500 wide - not to mention the depth - is insane. And I am not even considerating the energy required, but just the time to buylid those ships, dig the hole and cover them back.
