I always made mitts and gloves with circular needles and it becomes very clumsy to make finger gusset....this is a nice way....will make one like this. Thanx🥰🥰

Then you can keep 2 loops at centre except 1.

Thank you for posting this! I only have 2 straight needles and your video was the only one I could find to show how to make the thumb portion without 4 straight needles or circular needles. Would you be able to post the pattern in text? Like how many rows and how many counts? I'm new to knitting and can only catch the numbers, so I'm afraid I'd miss any subtle changes in the amount of knits. Love the yarn colour btw :)

I just saw the video, I found there is no need for text as I mentioned every number in English. So u can easily understand what m I doing in the video. Just remember panel's center part is a thumb part. Watch the video once again, I m sure you will understand this time.
I made this for my daughter... you explain so nicely that a person who has never knit will also be able to understand very easily... looking forward to videos on easy tops for ladies

There is not much difference between a young person and 11-12yrs kid's hand. So cast same loops with same needles. Trust me the output will come as you want.

Fir to ekdum simple h.....aap thumb wala area na banakar simply knit karte hue aage badh jaaye.....aur plain Knitting karte hue panel ready kar lijiye....last me silai to ek he side karni h to wahan pe thumb k liye ek inch area open rakhe matlab ek inch area na seeley.....silne se pehle pehn kar dekhiyega ki kahan se open rakhna h.

U r right....border me last ka loop ulti bunai ka he aayega... last loop sidha bunai ho raha hai koi baat nahi kyunki bus 1x1 ka sequence nahi bigadna chahiye......u just continue your knitting.

मेरे पास जो ऊन है वह पतली है (आपके ऊन की तुलना में) तो फिर कलाई के हिसाब से कितने फंदे डालने होंगे? 52 फंदे सही होंगे या ज्यादा ?
मतलब आप 12 नंबर की सिलाई इस्तेमाल करेंगी .....तो आप 50 फंदे डाले और बॉर्डर के बाद 5 फंदे बढ़ा ले फिर आगे की बुनाई करे।
@@BeginwithAnita मैंने 11 न. की सलाई ली है और उस पर 50 ही फंदे डाले और बार्डर बन लिया है | अब अगर 10 न. की सलाई से आगे बुनू तो क्या 5 फंदे बढ़ा लूं ? फिर जब अंगूठे के लिए फंदे बढाने होंगे तो हर सीधी सलाई पर बढाऊँ?
आगे की बुनाई 10 नंबर से करने के लिए 5 फंदे न बढ़ाए। जी हां, अंगूठे की बुनाई में हर सीधी सिलाई में ही फंदे बढ़ेंगे।
