I never had any lessons with this type of gimmick or how to do this type of work. This seems like the best way to learn this type of magic for only $20 . Wow
I bought this and really enjoy it. It is a quality item. However, the teaching is the real standout. What a great tutorial! Highly recommend. Thanks for another great review, David.
After your review I immediately went and checked out the image on penguin. Looks pig ugly 😂...then I bought it 😂 keep up the good work my friend, your costing me a fortune!
Hi David, thank you so much for this excellent review. I own just about every thumb writer ever made. This one by Florian Franz is the best fit I have had to date. I like it so much I purchased two. David, thank you so much for all you do! Your friend, David
I use many different swammi gimmicks. To me it is the best combination of fit, darker writing, adjustability, and tuition for an amazing price. Thanks for the review David!
@@magicorthodoxy I bought this item after listening to your review. I have not yet received the gimmick, but the main reason I bought it was because of your description of the download. You are right it is very good. While all of the information is terrific, I found the section on how to write the numbers and the letters most useful. I have had experience with this type of gimmick before and I think this information will improve my skills considerably. The handling of the gimmick was also a revelation to me. Thank you for your helpful reviews.
Which do you think is better, The Easy Writer or the new one from Vernet? They both look very similar, and I was wondering what your thoughts are? Thanks David! 🤘🏼🎩🤘🏼
This nail writer does okay and with 50 plus years of using various types of this gimmick the very best for me was one from Paul Harris called Freedom writer. It was expensive at $60, but my penmanship was great with a small learning curve and there was nothing to wear on the thumb. That’s a fact! Lost mine and have been trying to find a decent sub for a brilliant product that is no longer available. I found this one to do the job but, found it slightly bulky and therefore my search continues…
Can I assume from this that it's a ball point pen thing? I had one once. It leaked without mercy. Vernet has some good writers available, by the way. Not much instruction, but old guys like me have used these things for decades.
@@magicorthodoxy Ummmm....okay, pencil? Nobody even USES pencils these days. C'mon, David, you're not exposing any secrets by saying what the writing is done with. It looked like he was handing out a pen in the video. I used to have one that used a china marker. How did that even make sense?!?
A boon writer, thumb tip writer, and a nail writer are not the same thing. They are all very different from one another. A Sharpie isn’t a ballpoint pen nor is it a crayon. That said, great review once again! Thanks David ❤
Love the muggle reference!!!!!

It's a game changer.
HI David, Sounds like a solid product and tutorial...Thanks for your review.
You bet
Ok....ok....OK, I will put it in my cart. I need another thumb writer. I want the video. Thank you, David. Membership section rocks.
Get one, you won't regret it.

Glad you found it useful!
I just got this a little while ago, and I like it very much. I also got extra leads for it.
That's great to hear!
Haven’t heard from Patrick Redford in a while … I like his teaching.
Thanks for reviewing David 👍👍
you're welcome
Thank you. Sounds great.

their both good
Your a great man, magician, with good morals...unlike meny others..
wow thanks
David, as a left hander, I am wondering how transferable is the teaching tutorial for a left hander. Sometimes, I find..things just don’t work.
It’s mostly thumb, so it’s fine, but give it a try
I wish they included some replacement leds like the scribe did.
YEA ....
I purchased some and it's probably enough for a lifetime
Cost $3.99

I’ll have to check that one out.
Oh, yeah, I remember that! I lost mine, too. But I stuck with band writers once they became available.

no ball point pen

yes, 2mm lead
I have just seen the video which actually shows what it looks like. Surely you could’ve shown it too as you’ve shown other gimmicks in the past?
maybe, but i've been chewed out for showing nail writers in the past
No he couldn't... and don't call him Shirley! 😂
I wrote Surely not Shirley
