You overlooked the advanced crossbow behind a charged barricade by the containers.

I use storage boxes (the one you scanned last time) as floor between devices and large grow plots. Small grow plots are also placed on storage. Also place storage onto freezers. Wall storage also some places. Some devices can be placed on the ceiling. Overall try out placement tricks, save a lot of space that way. 3x3 rooms are the main area of my vessel, then in front a stair room and the standard cockpit (bed and only a few other things). 2x2 walkways at front both sides, enough for all devices needed. Have 4 hovers (2 back and front) and 3 thrusters at back, so pretty slim, no walls.
When play it with next larger update, I probably change the design by place grow plots on walkways so can reduce the amount of modules to save mass.
