we have a weird misconception of age
We feel weird getting older
and embrace being young
because you don’t have to have it all figured out
people feel like time slips away because
they aren't where they want to be by at certain age.
I am a year away from 30,
and 30 scares people
We have this crazy expectation
of having this perfect life at 30
I embrace age.
I love getting older
I love getting wiser,
I love new experiences
as I get closer to 30,
I feel like I've lived many lives.
All intertwined for a bigger purpose.
when you're young, you don’t get taken serious
You’re either too naive or not experienced enough.
It’s fair to think that way because realistically,
you aren’t experienced,
and as you get older,
people start to look at you for the answers that they're looking for
you’ll soon realize that everyone is
still just trying to find the answers
no matter what stage in life they are in.
so embrace your age and your wisdom,
because getting older is a beautiful journey
of never having it all figured out
