If I'm being honest, super doesn't even need a remake. The game still holds up today and is quite easy to get a hold of with current nintendo standards. There's only a few things that feel out dated like the grapple beam, but basically everything else still stands the test of time. Remaking a game just to update it's visuals would be pointless, plus we all know nintendo would "fix" the game and make it so you wouldn't be able to do as much or any sequence breaking. Oh yeah and dread is coming too
Before there was Resident Evil this is one of those games that scared me as a kid first time playing. Seeing the old Tourian. I rented this game when I first played it. Those were the good times.
@@christopherfrazier2430 I miss those days too. Back when games had no or less dialogue in them. The good old days of gaming. Way back before there was Resident Evil.

This is what I like, a remix or reimagining doesn't have to be all flashy & cool. I wonder... If this song would be compatible with my SD2SNES Super Metroid MSU-1 Hack... I'll look into it and get back to you. You did really good.
JoeTheMedical I’m glad you like it! And I’m not completely sure, but (I think) I’ve heard that it’s nearly impossible to replace music in Rom hacks unless you remade the game from the ground up. :/ Also thank you! :)
@@redowldeer lolz, just as soon as this reply came I found out that there's rom patches to make use of the MSU-1 chip in the SD2SNES... Which means CD quality audio on the SNES, I mean how cool is that, right. BUT as far as I can tell you can do this either with an emulator or in my case I'll be using my SD2SNES. & There's other ROMs that have patches available: Super Mario World 1 & 2, Super Mario Kart, Zelda ALTTP, Mario RPG, etc. I'll look into this version first to see if the Crateria Reimagining you did is compatible, if it is I'll post a TH-cam video for you to see it in action. Wish me luck!

sprimalm awesome art work i cant wait for metroid prime for to come out and also remember playing super metroid when i was growing up that game was grate
I know it's supposed to be creepy, but the song is oddly relaxing to me. Probably because I played the hell out of this game as a kid, and, coincidentally enough, when I'd start another playthrough, it would be raining outside, and I'd be snuggled up on my couch. Super metroid was my comfort food game. The one I'd indulge in the most. Metroid is my favorite ip from nintendo. The other ones are good too but they just don't hit the same for me.
Nintendo, for the love of Metroid, please do not give Samus 360 aim in the Super Metroid Remaster. We only needed 8 directions. AND GIVE SUPER SOME MORE LORE PLEASE
I would like to make a request if I can. Could you slow this down for 0.75 or so? If I do it on TH-cam it doesn't work well. I did it using Videopad but I won't upload it since it is your work, unless you give me the permission.
I’ll see what I can do. If I can do it successfully, I’ll let you know. I’ll put the link in a pinned comment as well as in the description of both this video, and it’s non-extended version.
Now why the hell they can't make Metroid graphics look like this? Also why do she needs to blow up the planet almost every time? Eventually they gonna run out of planets. They barely pulled off keeping the Metroid brand AFTER she killed all them off.
Could y’all imagine a new Super Metroid with these graphics. But still in the same type of play through. My goodness
I got a strange feeling that could be coming at some point

Bro! Me too! I was nine years old when we first rented this game. There was a save file right before Mother Brain. It scared the life out of me. XD

this is what i hear on my head whenever im alone in a rainy day.
Suddenly I went back to Crateria once again, all thanks to you
metroid 1: Mother brain's gonna die...
metroid 2: Metroids are gonna die.
Metroid 3: Ridley is gonna die!
metroid 4: I am going to die!!
metroid 5: AAAAAAAAA-
This aged hilariously well
Metroid 6 oh my ******* god
Also very hilarious
well, in 5 its tecnically ''raven beaks going to die''
I liked the old theme but I always felt they could improve the rain and lighting sounds, so I am very glad I found this version!
I love falling asleep to the original and this as well. 1994 was a great year. SW winds, a storm in the summer, and this game on display at Sears.
its so... full and robust i love it

Now I want to play Super Metroid again. This is the best part of the game together with the upcoming part. But all parts of the game is amazing.
This sounds gorgeous.
SO GOOD!
Landing Site
Western Crateria
Old Tourian
Old Brinstar

Wow! Nicely made!
Very similar feel to the mansion music from the original PS1 version of Resident Evil
They need to remake this game ASAP! It's too damn good to NOT have a damn remake, am I right? I love this game.
Was waiting for the gameplay
Super Metroid should be Nintendo’s next remaster
This sounds so evil, like a theme for Emperor Palpatine.
Nah it more for me
i really love this game with all his tracks and secrets
