    • @SerbAtheist
      @SerbAtheist 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Blunders by ranking queen edition:
      0-500 ELO: Brings the queen to opponent's third rank where it's captured by a pawn.
      500-1000 ELO: Doesn't notice that the moved bishop or knight targeted the queen and loses it.
      1000-1500 ELO: Brings the queen out for a scholar's mate and gets it trapped.
      1500-2000 ELO: Grabs a poisoned pawn with a queen and gets it trapped.
      2000-2500 ELO: Carelessly trades the queen for an unfavorable endgame.
      2500-3000 ELO: Carelessly puts the queen in a less active position than the opponent's queen.
      3000+ ELO: Carelessly moves the queen to the side of the board where no action will be happening in the next 30 moves, creating a so-called Siberian Queen.

    Great video as always! Feedback: I personally don't like the blunder/inaccuracy icons you added in this video. Because it takes away from the suspense on quality of the move, as well as it makes your explanation less interesting. It's the same principle regarding why I would never like your videos to have evaluation bar. Am I an exception and the user majority prefer the icons?

    • @saresa2566
      @saresa2566 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      It is just showing that there are better/interesting lines that could happen and honestly this is where usually agadmator uses to show the fun lines. I like it. But i get your point, the icons are generated by the engine which means it outright is bad/worst, it removes the excitement oh how agadmator explains why a move is bad because the engine already decided to show those icons.

    • @gregshortall
      @gregshortall 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      I personally think it added to the storytelling and analysis in this case as it's highly anomalous that there would be a rare '?!' move met by yet another '?!' move so feel that it deserved to be highlighted.

    Funny thing, is that this version of the English Opening is a reverse Dragon Sicilian...but with an extra move for the "black" side. But the Dragon Sicilian in general does NOT have a good reputation for black, because white has a very straightforward and mechanical attack on the king's side (with the "Yugoslav Attack") and black's resources on the queen side are limited. So, why can't Black simply castle queen side and do the same thing against white in this version of the English? Does having that ONE extra move for white make all the difference? Am I missing something, or what?

      Qd8 was covered in the video. Ra8 would be followed by Re7 threatening mate in g7. Only move is g5, but then white plays Qh3, renewing the threat and winning (notice that Qh5 instead of Qh3 doesn't work, since black would play Qf5 equalizing).

    • @abiliodefreitas736
      @abiliodefreitas736 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Dd8 was covered in the video. If black plays Ra8, then white plays Re7 threatening mate in g7. Only move would be g5, but then white plays Qh3 renewing the threat and winning (notice that Qh5, instead of Qh3, doesn't work, because black then plays Qf5 equalizing).

    • @Dev_712
      @Dev_712 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      If Ra8 then Re7, threatening checkmate on g7. So black has to either sacrifice the queen by playing Qf7 or play g5. g5 might be slightly better but still black has to sacrifice his Queen.
      After g5, Qh3 and there's no stopping checkmate unless black plays Qf7 and then Rxf7 and white has an overwhelming advantage with the Queen

    Why did black have to play Rb3? Oh I see. After white's Re4, black plays Rb4.

    What do you mean the player prepared for it? You say this often, and i dont understand what that means. This was a game that hasnt been played before, and so many lines in, a player can PREPARE for it?? huh?
